Once a doormat always a doormat

Urmi has again proved herself a doormat. Why is the typical bharatiya nari portrayed only as a mother and a wife and a daughter-in-law clad in sarees and jewellery, ever sacrificing and ever forgiving ? Isn't there anything beyond? Seriously Urmi forgave Samrat ??? OMG!!! 🤢🤢🤢 Can you believe it ???? I thought she will atleast show some anger or won't be so easily won over but no, as I said, once a doormat always a doormat... She was as if waiting to forgive him. Even God doesn't forgive so easily. One has to repent and suffer for all ill deeds in this life. Still can't believe she was smiling like that forgetting all those bruises and abuses. Didn't even want to test his love or judge him ???
Good job Zee...
So all the battered women out there in families where this serial is watched, never ever try to go against your abusive husband because ONE DAY he will realise and show his love...

P.S. How can a man change overnight ? Where did this love come form suddenly ? How did he realise that Urmi is even important ? She was nothing in front of him till the day before!🤢🤢

So agree with everything you have said. I can't believe the Cvs and the channel expect their audiences to be so dumb and to accept such crap!! I am so utterly disappointed by what has transpired in the last two days. Who changes overnight? No one. Not only did they show Urmi forgiving Samrat but each and every family member had tears in their eyes. Really?? Samrat did not deserve anyone's forgiveness. This show had so much potential to address the issue of domestic violence and they have made a mockery of it. I have never been so disappointed with any show on Indian television!

Whatever the supposed twist be, does not change the fact that Urmi has acted like a total doormat with no sense of self-respect. That makes it even more galling.

If the writers were trying to say that Urmi took all of those beatings to show that she was a "strong woman" then they did a very poor job. All I saw was a woman who lacked self esteem and does not realize her self worth.
If Urmi wanted to truly feel better about herself, she would realize that she deserved better than that, even if everyone disagreed with her.

Urmi character is defined as doormat. She was like the same before and she is going to be same going fwd. Sadly no women can relate with her.
Hopeless, confused, dumb, without selfrespect, only gives bold and useless pictures to others. She is different for others but is completely reverse in reality. 🤢
