Samrat is in a hotel room with a hooker with whom he apparently spent the night. Urmi's mother calls and Shashi picks up the phone, she makes some excuse and doesn't let Urmi talk to her mother. Urmi's father tries to taunt her mother for worrying needlessly. SHe snaps back that his responsibility does not end with getting Urmi married off and just because Urmi is married does not mean she has no relationship with them now.

Urmi goes to the Puja room in her house and thinks about what Tauji told her. Shashi is looking for her because she's made sweets for Urmi and doesn't want her to tell anything to her parents. Urmi is nowhere to be found in the house. Meanwhile Samrat reaches his office where he has a big meeting lined up. In the middle of the meeting the police come and tell everyone that Samrat is being arrested for beating his wife.

Samrat tires to show attitude and the Inspector grabs him by the neck and drags him to Police Station. There all the journos and people recognise Samrat. Samrat enters the PS and sees a battered Urmi sitting there.
