Completely agree with the sentiments on this thread!
I can not comprehend why CVs are validating Samrat's behavior with every track.
I'm still a loss as to the purpose of Aditi-Amrit-Trisha triangle story. What are they trying to prove/convey with this track?
Trisha is a strong willed, progressive, ambitious girl with well rooted values who is shown to be more worldly than small town Urmi. This has always been the part of her characterization that I have appreciated and it's also what helped her get to the bottom of Amrit's deceit so quickly. Kudos to the writers for this aspect - the track did not drag.
What I don't get is what is the point of this track? Are all road-side Romeo type guys - malicious and evil? That's a blanket statement - and I don't think it's fair to make a blanket statement that will write off an entire group based on the actions of a few.
Are they trying to say families ALWAYS know better than their children? Aditi and thus by extension Urmi are not able to see their husbands for what they truly are like the rest of their family members and thus should always go by what the family says at that is for "their good".
Aditi's husband cheated her - therefore her initial judgement on him is incorrect. She thought he was a good guy - fought her family - went with him and now is seeing that he is not what she thought he was thus her families judgement was proved correct.
What kind of message is this? Why couldn't they show that he is not a bad person - and Aditi's judgement was not wrong. This is just validating that the families always know better - which is not always the case. More over I feel like this is promoting regressive behavior - why is it not possible to show that a girl who makes a decision or takes a stand is doing so based on her own thinking - she's been brought up with a set of values that have given her a good foundation and empower her to think reasonably and logically and make sound judgements - why must this be proven wrong or shown to be false?
Like wise Urmi KNOWS the brute that her husband is - yet she is keeping blinders on and allowing his "caring nature" to cloud her judgement. Till a few days ago she was hell bent on never returning, convinced he could never care for anyone outside himself or his ego - what happened to that fire?
All in all I am thoroughly disappointed - this show and these tracks had so much potential but now it's just going in circles - Samrat and his ego keep getting satisfied - WHY?!!!!!
