I doubt it if they are going to follow the right path as there are already articles out about how Urmi will return to her sasural after the pregnancy fiasco (another track that was way too conveniently added and was not needed). We all knew that pregnancy news would trigger the endless bhashans and lectures from the illogical elders in Urmi's family about how its even more important to go back to the Rat because of the new baby. What bugs me to no end is the Rat and his Ratni (mommy)'s reaction when Urmi returns home. Yes, they may show some humanity in caring for her physically (for their own reasons, khandaan ka waris ka sawaal hai) but mentally it will be like "ha ha, we told you that you will be back, aur kahan jayegi". And god forbid if the baby is a daughter, Rat will perform a tandav at her birth and if it's a boy, the baby will be enrolled in the Rat university right away to ensure he will become papa jaisa.

It's a pity they never learn. You know, so often you hear about the silly objections (like a word in a song from aaja Nachley or the title of Ram Leela, which was forced to change to Goliyon ki Rasleela Ram Leela) and yet no objections of serials like these which consist of day to day abuse towards women
