Shubhangi Blamed For Closure Of Do Hanson Ka Joda

Imagine TV's prime time show 'Do Hanson Ka Jodaa' has gone off air last week leaving its cast and technicians in utter disappointment. The main reason behind the show going off air is said to be the lead actress Shubhangi Atre, who played Preeti.

The actors and technicians of the show were shocked to hear that the channel is going to pull the show off air. Many of them, it seems, believe - and not very kindly - that Shubhangi is the reason behind this early closure of the show.

It was earlier reported that Shubhangi Atre met an accident several weeks ago and was advised by the doctor to take bed rest. Since she was playing the main character and the focus was more on her track at that time, the makers decided to shoot from her home. The actress also agreed when the serial-makers requested her to do so. But after some days, she declined to shoot even a single scene from home, including the close-up shots.

As a result, the production house decided to replace Shubhangi with another actress. However, the channel did not like the idea as they thought it would affect the rating of the serial and it would be better to wrap up.

"If Shubhangi had co-operated a little bit, the channel could cocontinue to air the show for some more episodes, but now it has got an opportunity to close the show and go ahead with something new," said one technician.

However, Shubhangi maintained that no one can blame her because her health condition was bad and it was impossible for her to shoot.
