The girls hatch a silly plan to get out of this alliance and they tell Surya that Preeti has epilepsy, hoping he would say no to her.

But the hero comes home and says "mujhe yeh rishta man, vachan, karm, aur atma se sweekar hai!!" My jaw dropped open 😆 I honestly thought he would say no and there would be some rona dhona drama where the parents convince Preeti. But wow, hero is smart! 😛

No I kinda expected him to say yes😆 When Summi told him, he seemed so upset to learn that. I think he was genuinely concerned for Preeti and sympathized with her. I'm so proud of him

Are you sure he was concerned? To me, it seemed as if he could see straight through them. He knew they were lying. He was saying, Main samajh gaya. And so that's why I thought he would be the perfect gentleman and decline the proposal.

I'm glad he's not the perfect gentleman. 😛

Nah I thought he meant he understood how Preeti was concerned about hiding that fact and why her family hid it. Maybe I should re-watch that part😆 But after when Preeti and Summi left, his facial expression showed he was upset by it and was concerned

^ Nah I think if he actually knew that Preeti wasn't happy with it and was lying, then he would've said no for sure. At least that's how I think Surya's character is =)

And yeah it would've been better if she was honest. If he finds out later that she lied he'll feel so hurt =(

Saying YES is one thing. But what's behind that YES is the item to be seen. I think he knows she doesn't like him but he said it to please everyone mostly the elders. All wait and see for more on the YES senerio.
