In yday's epi ,we get to see actually why Snehlata wants Preeti to marry Surya kamal, but the reasoning was simply not satisfactory, infact I felt disgusted after that explanation --

So, first Snehlata conducts an interview of the boys (as if it is really done that way, I found it stupid) and then judges them and gives a decision-- so, ok, Surya seeemed more genuine of the two and a nice and naive person but for a marriage , other factors also have to be taken in to consideration , like-

1. Most impt is Preeti's opinion , if Snehlata thinks that Rishi is not the rite guy, then, she should wait for a guy who will suit both her taste and her daughter's taste , it was not that these two wer the last 2 bachelors left on the face of the earth and Snehlata had to make a choice between the two.

2. Surya's background -- he is living with a step-mom and step family , that could be a potential threat to her daughter (and it is gonna be a big threat, as we all can already sense it). Couldnt Snehlata find something missing in the very fact that no one from Suryakamal's family came to see the girl, he had to cum alone and decide for himself, that shows the interest his family has in him , so how will they ever show interest in his wife ???

3. Surya's income -- 11,000 rs he says--- I dont believe in the bookinsh statement that money isnt a factor -- lets all think sanely , money is very important for happiness, although money is not happiness, but it does play an impt role. Tmrw if Surya kamal cant take Preeti out for a movie or buy her something she wants , but says that he loves her a lot, what is the point ???? .

4. Last but not the least -- he is barahwi pass-- means no education.......ok, so, today u mite get less sal, but if u r well educated, then money will surely come sooner or later , but here Surya kamal's education also is a big drawback and yet Snehlata has overloooked this too.

The creatives should have thought of something better to get Surya and Preeti married, this whole thing jus doesnt work :(((

i agree with you...the producers spend so much money effort to make the serial ..why cant they think little more clearly about their story.........

sorry magixx, I still do not get the point --- what is the point if Surya is a heera and his family is full of stones --- a marriage doesnt only bring a husband for the girl but also a lot of other relationships and responsibilities ---

I still repeat the same point, I had earlier stated-- are these 2 , the only bachelors left on the face of the earth and Snehlata had to make a choice between the two.

Rab ne bana di jodi was better is handling this situation-- Taani's marriage is fixed to the guy of her dreams , but still she ends up with suri due to circumstances and those circumstances were believable but here, Im still searching for the logic....

nothing made sense so far & the reasoning behind Surya & Preeti's marriage is absolute rubbish

i wont give up on this serial though til i see a few more epi's and see if anymore of it will make sense

I agree with u but Preeti's mum knows that Suryakamal is a innocent n caring person n will loook after Preeti after her marringe as she knows that Suryakamal has a step mum n sisters n he cares for them n gets them everything they want so she knows he will oviously do alot to his wife whereas Rishi is good but he will throw everything n responsibiliteis on his parents after he gets married to preeti. Plus Preeti's mum is good enough to select a guy for her daughter n knows who's best for her as she knows Preeti will never want to marry a man like suryakamal but still knows Suryakamal will care for Preeti.

I absolutely agree. It's perfect for the story's progression, since we know Surya and Preeti will end up together. But the way it's been done is so hasty, and for all Sneh knows, Surya could just be a fraud who's sprouting lines she may want to hear. Just A couple interviews with a couple men and she has the perfect man for her daughter?

though many of your points are very correct

i guess they rushed the whole process because the mother has cancer and is dying if the doc's given her 6 months.. she can go on to live another 6 years.. or 6 weeks.. who's to say the exact 'when'.. (that's up to the writers) 😕😕

and as you said.. these two are not the last guys on earth..so how can one be sure that the third, fourth, fifth, sixth guy that comes.. the same thing won't happen?? preeti likes mom doesn't.. preeti dislikes.. mom likes and preeti is living a dream as far as her marriage goes.. she's already "in love" with rishi.. in the sense that.. one meeting and she was day dreaming about him.. and the things she loved the most were that he's cute.. he's health conscious..and that he's a movie freak (the most important!).. who lives life on that??? you have to be a little realistic in life.. and preeti isn't.. from any end ..

as far as money goes.. he seems to be doing fine on a middle class basis.. he takes care of his family.. they have a roof over their head.. they have food in their plates.. and it seems they get by justttt fine.. and preeti doesn't seems spoiled from any end.. that she'll need this.. that.. and so on..

and surya's mother coming for the rishtaa.. no thank you.. i'd rather see surya make the decision for himself..😃😃 who cares about his family.. we've seen them.. i don't wanna see the useless drama of the fake in-laws.. that they'll turn out to be.. nice in front of preeti's parents.. and once the parents are gone.. they make sure preeti lives hell

so preeti's mother took the decision.. and as the mother had stated.. preeti's flying in the clouds.. so is rishi.. its only surya who has his feet planted on the ground.. and she needs that.. 😳😉

her reasoning was pretty decent.. and i guess the writers don't wanna stress the marriage fiasco of 'finding the groom'.. and it was rushed.. based on one teeny interview.... and a few questionss.. 😕😕 sometimes that's not enough when it comes to choosing a life partner.. and sometimes its more than enough😳😳 depends on you and your destiny..

im pretty satisfied with the whole situation.. because what i'm waiting to see is how sumi and rishi's relationship works out.. as that rishtaa is also finalized 😕 preeti and surya will be fine --- eventuallyyyyyyy..

after reading ur review i waTCHED THE EPISODe and really felt the same the attitude snehlata was showing in CONDUCTING the interview😆it really disgusts me and somehow very very impractical..what really disgusts me is 12vi paas...horrible yaar kaun kam pada likha daamaad nahin chahta hai...really funny..unbelievable😆
