Chapter 2

Raghu POV: I made her school bag ready and asked her to have her breakfast. I moved towards my cupboard & took out a shirt for me. But then I heard her shouting Nahii..!!.. Not this. I raised a brow & asked- So!! which one?? She came to me & made me to stand in the corner & started to observe my shirts carefully. I was just smiling on her cute pose. She was continuously tapping her chin with her index finger. Then I heard her - Mil gaya.. She stretched out a Blue... No actually its.. What The.. This Shirt!!!! Yeah!! She took out a Royal Blue Shirt. I was shocked. But her next set of words left me numb for a second. She turned & gave it to me while saying - Wear this. Ye apko suit karta hain and its my favourite colour na!! When she didn't get a reply from me, she asked - Arey papa!! what happened?? pehno na.. I took that from her with shaking hands & wore that and turned to show that to her, but she has already rushed downstairs. Just then a voice echoed in my mind - "Royal blue shirt suit karta hain tumhe aur fir ye mera favourite bhi toh hain". I whispered - Just like you.

Then I heard her calling. I replied - Coming Riu. As I reached the breakfast table, she smiled and ran to me. She sat on my lap & kissed my cheeks 'My cutie papa.. Riu loves you very much. Still keeping her in my lap I replied - My bachcha papa loves you too.. Now can we have breakfast as we are getting late?? Yeah.. We had breakfast & then I drove to her school. Both of us were standing outside the car. I bent on my knees & asked her - After school you have to come where?? She replied smiling - To Adi chachu's hotel. Yups & I'll be in the canteen for you. ok?? She nodded in yes. Then I turned after bidding her bye. I had taken just few steps when I heard her shouting- Papa... I turned immediately & asked- What happened?? Forget anything?? She ran to me & I took her in my arms. She buried her face in my chest & this worried me even more. I again asked her with a concern 'Kya huwa mere bachche ko.. need something?? But she nodded in no. But still she didn't say a word.

I touched her temple to check if she was having fever or something but no, her body temperature was almost ok. I was hell confused. "Kya huwa beta? Don't you tell it to your dear papa.. haann?? She raised her head & whispered in my ear - HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAPA.. My eyes shot open. I twitched my neck to see her face. She then burst out laughing & said while laughing - papa you got scared na.. hehe.. Riu scared papa.. hehe.. & I was like Gosh!! this girl, she almost stopped my heartbeat. Aur main apna hi birthday bhool gaya. Of course I forgot yaar.. These days work load is too much to remember anything. She was still laughing. I also joined her. I was happy because my princess was happy. Then I joined my forehead with hers & said - Toh Riu ko yaad tha papa ka birthday haann?? She nodded her head innocently - hmm.. I asked - So!! papa ka gift kahan hain?? She replied mischievously - In the evening, when we'll go to Mc Donalds. There I'll give you your gift. I rubbed her nose with mine & tickled her a bit. She giggled. I put her down & she went to her school.

Precap: He fell down on the bench with a thud. I lost my princess forever?? What'll I do without her?? Tears came out of his eyes.
