After the painful flashback, my eyes were filled with tears and my cheeks had become soggy.. Just then I heard a childish cry.. "Mumma !!!"cried Karan from his room.. I ran towards his room in fear.. I found him crying , seated on his bed..."Kya huya baby ?? Kyun roh rahe ho??"said Antara hugging him tightly.. "Maa, mujhe sapna aaya ki aapko kisine goli maar di.."said Karan crying.. "Arre baba, it was just a nightmare.. Dekho main tumhaare paas hoon. Kuch nahi huya mujhe..."said Antara assuring him..."Mumma mujhe kabhi mat chodke jaana.."said Karan.. Antara briefly nodded her head with tears in her eyes.. She then softly hummed a song and patted Karan to bed.. She then went back to her room to read Raghu's diary.. The memories gave her strength to fight back...
"Jaha tak main tumhe jaanta hoon, tumne mera pehla page padhkar bahut saare aansoon bahaye honge.. You crazy girl !! When I'm with you , rona kiss baat ka ?? Aur Junior Raghu ko lagega ki uski maa ek cry-baby hain !! Tum ladkiyon ki toh problem hi hoti hain rona.. Anyways, I am driving away from the goal of this book.. The goal was to keep you occupied after your delivery to distract you from your body pain as I may not always be there to take care of you.. I mean, I may have to go here and there toh tab you will read this book.. Waise bhi , tum toh book worm ho hi.. Especially those romantic books, they appeal to you alot. Aur main tumhaara opposite,mujhe naa toh writing mein interest hain aur naa hi reading main.. But for you my jaan, writer bhi ban jaoonga..
Okay so lets go back into the past:
It was a hot day when something more dangerously hot came in front of my eyes.. You !!! Okay Sorry Sorry !! I know you hate it when someone calls you that but what to do !! You are hot !!..
Abhi yeh mat kehna ki pregnancy ke baad main acchi nahi lagti.. You are an angel and thats why you inhibit signs of angelic beauty..Haan toh back to the scene.. I still remember, you were in black slim fit jeans and a blue sleeveless top... Everyone in college was staring at you and even I was... Why wouldn't I ?? You had apparently just jagged me up .. I had lost the bet.. You walked up to me saying"Tum bet haar gaye..You stared at me for more than 30 seconds"you said... "Well, its a complete make-over for you..That's why I was just looking at how different you look. Not that I am interested in you, its just that you look very different.."I said trying to cover up.. "But your eyes tell me that I won the bet"you said again jagging me up.. "My point was that Indian girls who are bounded by culture and are completely traditional cannot survive in the foreign countries .." I said.. "I just proved you wrong.. If it comes to being western , I can be an expert at it.. I can dress , eat and speak like a foreigner.. But the only thing is that I can't forget that I am an Indian.. I belong to India , so why shouldn't I wear a salwaar-kurti . Why shouldn't I speak in Hindi or any other Indian language? Why is it that I only have to speak English.. You tried ragging me on my first day in college seeing me in a chudidaar thinking that I am a simple Indian girl who can't say anything?? Well, Raghu ... What thinking??"you said.. You had left me speechless.. You were so bold yet humble.. I had been so rude to you on the first day of your college and you... You taught me a lesson by your decency.. I was stunned.. "Im sorry"I said making the entire crowd surrounding us leave out a gasp.. "Raghu ne sorry bola"one girl said irritating me and making you giggle.. Even when you were giggling I was staring at you like a fool.. "Friends ?"you said extending your hand.. Man, you don't have ego problem at all !! You were still ready to be friends with me after all the humiliation ... I slowly held your hand and smiled... That's where our story started..
Okay now let me take a 3 month leap.. Otherwise this book will be never-ending...
"Raghu ,mujhe pichar dekhni hain"you said in a hyper mode.."Antara, raat ke teen baje huye hain.. Tumne mujhe dara hi diya tha.. I got so scared seeing your call come in the middle of the night"I said in a sleepy voice.. "Nahi , Raghu.. Mujhe tumhaare saath ek pichar dekhni hain"you said.. I thought for a moment.. Issi bahane mujhe tumhaare saath aur time spend karne ka mauka milega.. Choosing sleep over a chance of being with eternal beauty would be insane !! So I had a plan ... I quickly drove to your apartment and climbed up the tree to jump into your balcony hoping that your parents wouldn't wake up... You opened the sliding door of the balcony letting me in and for a moment I was awe-struck.. You were wearing blue-pajamas ...and bunny slippers.. You were too cute .. I can't even explain how cute you were looking.. Suddenly you snapped your fingers.."Kaha kho gaye??"you asked.. "Tumhaari khubsurati mein.."I said in a trance.. "Thank you thank you !!"you said giggling.. "Sholay, deewar,Kaalia aur coolie mein se kya dekhna hain tumhe..?'I asked.. "Sholay.."you replied cheerfully... "Dhyaan rahe ki volume kam rahe.. Tumhaare Hitler papa jaag gaye toh main toh gaya .."I said.. "Haan haan.. Jab Antara tumhaare saath hain toh darna kiss baat ka??"you said making me smile.. Time passed and Veeru was hitting on Basanti.. I was wondering whether I should hit on you... But then I preferred just staring at you rather then flirting with you while you were deeply engrossed in the movie.. After the movie got over I quickly escaped out of the window and went to my house only to be sleeping the entire day..
