Antara's POV.
As I knocked the door slowly I heard the hurried sound of foot step from other side of the door. Soon the door was opened and rhea's worried eyes face from other side. "Di u okk naa?!" she asked in hurry and her face became more concerned. Perhaps she saw my dried face and detected something wrong. With silence I moved inside. I was feeling lifeless exhausted after the whole incident passed in some moment ago. Hardly half an hour I was outside but the whole moment seemed like ages.
I sat on the couch keeping feeling lost. The whole encounter between me and raghu was going round and round on my head. Trespassing inside naik sadan, getting caught by raghu, his sudden mercy on me and surprisingly hiding myself from Daya Naik and that Manohar guy, taking me out from naik sadan secretly and leading me to the lone place near public library, then after so many dramas he all of a sudden gave back my diary straightly. All those things didn't help me much rather than jumbling my head more and more. I couldn't understand anything from raghu's odd behavior towards. What was his motive behind all of those? He was not the type of guy who would let go a trespasser so easily after catching red handed. Cherry on the top he himself helped me to get out of the place!! What was that all for?!
"Di!!..." I felt rhea's hand on my shoulder. Recovering from my clueless state I looked at my side and found rhea seating at my side fixing her worried eyes to me. her gaze moved towards the diary which I was holding securely between my palms. "So you get that at last?!" she asked me. "Hmm..." I just buzzed unconsciously tracing my diary's leather cover's corner. "But you doesn't look good..." she said in doubtful tone, "Is everything fine di?! I hope anyone didn't saw you evoking inside that dayan's place." She looked expectantly. "Rhea..." I hold onto her palm on me and said, "You should go now it's quite late at the night. You have classes tomorrow." I advised her. "But di... You..." she was about to say something but I stopped her midway. "I am coming after some moment. Now go..." I said in a bit ordering tone. "Di I am feeling worried for you. tell me naa.. is anything wrong?! Did anyone catch you going inside? Are you hurt anywhere?" her worried eyes moved allover me with a quick check. I smiled a little and ruffled her hairs. "I am fine rhea. Nothing happened to me... I just want to be alone for some moment. That's why I am telling you to go. Nothing else." I assured her. "Di... are you hiding something from me again?!" determination flashed in her eyes, "What happened in naik sadan. I want to know." She asked demanding answer. "I will tell you everything rhea, but not now. Cause me myself is clueless about everything. I really need some time alone to think about the whole matter. So please..." I pleaded her gently. Unwillingly she got up from my side. "Don't get too late okk?!" she warned me like an old spec wearing granny. I smiled and nodded. With slow unwilling steps she moved upstairs. as she left, the silence surrounded me again. My mind went through the whole incident again and again analyzing every moment but I didn't get any answer of my confusion. His teasing rants all time, indicated something all the way which was not detectable to me. Daya Naik's most obedient server, Raghunath Naik let go a trespasser on his own, people would surely give shocker reactions to those news. But why he was kind enough to let me go. Kindness was not in his bones which he proved every time. While he was fighting those goons in the basti, while he caught the man on the train and was about to smash his head with electric pole each and every thing detected his crude nature. He didn't have any mercy while he kept that bomb on the houseboat which blew out my entire family. YES!! He was one of them who killed my family and that's the thing mattered. Nothing else... I forgot that sometimes evil shows mercy but that doesn't mean they have changed for good. Cause, even their mercy has some hidden motive behind. I shouldn't fall for his any trap or so called kindness.
I remembered the moment while I was struggling hard to get free of his hand after he caught me. His utterly powerful iron hold and corpse around me, his scorching breath burning on my silhouette, remembering about that eerie disgusting feeling shook me from top to bottom. I cringed and coiled myself clutching around my sleeve, my stomach where I could steal feel his powerful hold resisting me to go and I was all helpless in front of his strength, his power. While his palm was pressing over my lips almost stopping my breath, I shivered from top to bottom. How can I let him touch me so easily, to posses me?! I felt my eyes moistened.. "No antara kaul, its enough now. Stop being cry baby." Someone told me from inside, "U may not tolerate his mere presence around, but for now, u have to keep those emotions shut. It's time to retort back antara. Just go and show those peoples that what is right and what is wrong." As my inner voice spoke to me, my jaw hardened. Holding the diary tight into my hand I touched the moist drops of my eyes. Holding the drop onto my finger's topi aimlessly gazed at them. A sarcastic smile spread on my lips as I threw the teardrops away with a single stroke of my index and thumb.
Raghu's POV
I slowly knocked the door of the room situated at the corner of ground floor of our house. No one answered from inside. "Abey darwaza khol naa..." I again knocked and mumbled in irritation. After some more knocks finally the door was opened and the lad peeps outside with a sleepy face yawning hard. "Kya raghubhai... itne raat koo kyun darwaza knock kar rahe hoo?!" Prashant asked me with a sleepy voice. I scanned the empty hall again to be sure that the road was cleared. "Prashant woo security room kaa chabi le aur chal apun kee sath..." I told him. "kya security room?! abhi?!" he looked a bit clueless. His drowsiness didn't left yet. "Haan abhi...kuch zaroori kaam hain mereko." I said with ordering voice. Prashant looked towards me with odd eyes for some moment then went inside. After some moment he came out with his key ring and followed me.
"Arey yee larki... issey too maine dekha tha basti mein... saroj aunty jii kee sath..." prashant's eyes stuck to the screen as he was checking the security cameras of the room and as I expected antara's shabby feature was caught in a footage. "Chal abb jaldi see mita dee is koo..." I told him pressing on his shoulder. "Kya?!...Mitaa doon?!... I mean delete kar doon?!!" prashant was in utter shock. He was looking towards my face as if I said something unexpected. "Haan wohich... Chal hath chala apna fat se.." I told him again. "Par raghubhai... dekho... yee larki choro ki tarah andar ghus rahi hain.. Daya mai koo yee baat batana too chahiye..." prashant said in slight amused voice. "Prashant..." my voice became stern as well as my hand pressed hard on his shoulder. his talk stopped immediately as he looked towards my face. "JItna kahan jayein utna kar... samajh gaya?!" I used my most dominating voice to him. "Aur haan... Daya mai koo yaa kakka koo kuch nahin bata nee kaa iss barein mein... kuch nahin matlab kuch nahin... samajh gaya?!" I said coldly towards him. prashant didn't said much and got into work. I looked towards the screen where prashant deleted the shos which had captured antara's trespassing inside our residency. The whole moment of our encounter was rolling in my mind. I wish if it was that easy to omit her from my mind just like prashant did with those footages. But it seemed like it was impossible for me. I already knew that it was impossible. Prashant was checking other footages and he suddenly stopped on footage. My eyes stuck to the screen seeing the footage. It was the moment when I was taking antara outside the naik sadan. We both were captured on the camera together. The whole footage covered that how I moved out of naik sadan and how antara was following me unwillingly. "Acha... too yee baat hain..." as I heard prashant's voice I looked towards him and there was a naughty smile on his face. "Abb yee battisi kyun dikha raha hain?!!" I asked scratching my head. "Too yee larki aap see mil nee ayi thi?!!" prashant said. I stroke lightly on his head. "ouch!!..." he winced. "Prashant.. tere koo maar khana hain fir se?!" I said with a little scowl. "bilkul nahin raghubhai... aap kee hathoo se too bilkul nahin.. waisey... ek baat batayein.. iss larki kee sath kya aap kaa..." his voice stopped immediately as I gazed towards him with a frown. "arey aise mat dekho bhai... abhi ruko isko bhi delete kar det hoon." He said and got into work. within some mins there was no traces of antara getting inside the naik sadan.
