Hey guys!!! As you all know it's a new story and I am quite nervous about it!! Please point out my mistakes and anything which you don't like about it!!
Chapter 1
"Hello?" Antara said picking up her phone...she was very irritated as someone had called her in the middle of the night. She didn't even bother to see who had called her.
"Hi moti!!! What's up girl?" Raghu answered cheerfully
"Uugghh!! You!! How can you be so unbelievably irritating?? Why the hell are you calling me now?? And I told you many times not to call me moti!!" Antara replied...she was hell irritated.
"Arey!! Don't be like that..I just wanted to talk to you yaar!" Raghu replied...he was really amused.
"You wanted to talk at 3 in the morning?? What kind of an idiot are you??" She asked..she was getting angrier with each passing minute.
"I was missing you...that's why I called...and how would I know that its night in india...here its broad daylight!!" He replied...he was trying to calm antara down a bit.
"Cut the crap!! And come to the point..What do you want from me??" Antara asked angrily.
This statement hurt Raghu a lot...he wasn't expecting her to say this "Why are you saying this?? Do I call you only when I need something??" He asked...he was hurt.
"Yeah!! You always call me when you need a favour..just tell me what you want or let me sleep!!" She snapped.
"Its nothing moti..just go back to sleep...good night!" Raghu said...he was deeply hurt.
"Okay yeah..good night!!" Antara said and hung up.
Antara was about to lie down to sleep again when a tear rolled down her cheeks...she quickly wiped them with her hands but more tears made their way down her cheeks.She was very sad that she behaved with Raghu in such a way...he was her best friend but she could never forgive him for what he had done five years ago...
The next morning...
"Good morning Antara!!" Machmach said and hugged her sister tightly..."Good morning bhaiya!" she replied and hugged him back.
"I have a good news for you!!!" Machmach said...he could sense that his sister was sad for some reason.
"Really what is it??" Antara asked excitedly...Machmach smiled when he saw a smile returning on her beautiful face.
"Guess!! Guess!! I am not going to tell you so easily!! Machmach said teasing her
"Please tell me na bhaiya...!! Is it about you?? Mom? Dad? Tell me please!!" Antara requested.
"Okay I will give you a hint...its about your best friend Raghu!!" Machmach said and smiled .
"Oh what about him??" She asked...and looked down.
"Guess what ?? He is coming back to India!!!" He smiled and waited for his sister to start jumping with happiness.
"WHAT????" she said..."Oh god why does he have to come back...I cant stay anywhere near him!" She thought to herself.
"Yeah antara!! Aren't you happy princess??" Machmach asked her.
"ummm...no..i mean yeah I am happy!" Antara smiled weakly.
"I thought so!! He is coming back tomorrow...he called me this morning!!" Machmach said...he was worried seeing his sister's reaction..he had expected her to be really happy but she wasn't he felt as if she was hiding some sadness behind her smile.
"Well that's good!" Antara said...she was very worried.
"I know!!" Machmach said and walked away.
"Oh god no!! this cant be happening I cant face him...no I cant!! I wont talk to him...but how..he is my best friend...everyone will understand that something is wrong between the two of us!! Oh no no...!!This cant be happening!!" Antara thought.
At night antara sat in her room and started thinking about her friendship with Raghu...she couldn't sleep...she was feeling very frustrated. She picked up her pillow and threw it on the pillow..she couldn't understand why she confessed her love for him five years ago. She got up and opened her cupboard. She took out her diary...she opened the diary and started reading it..after she was done...she had tears in her eyes...thinking about how much she loved Raghu and he broke her heart.she closed her diary and kept it aside.
"How could you do this to me Raghu?? You knew I loved you..but you used me to win somebody else's heart...what you did was wrong...and I am never going to forgive you for that!! I thought of you as my best friend...I still love you but I cant trust you...never!! What's love without trust??? It's nothing!! You have lost my trust forever Mr.Raghunath naik...FOREVER!!! " Antara thought.
The next day...
"Hello mom!! I will reach at one o'clock. Are you coming to the airport??" Raghu asked
"Yaa we are coming Antara's parents are also coming they missed you a lot beta!" Raghu's mother said...she was so happy that her son was coming back.
"And mom..What about Antara??" Raghu asked softly...he was hoping that she would come...he couldn't wait to see his moti...
"No beta...she is not coming! I know that you are dying to meet her...but she refused to come to the airport with us!" Raghu's mother said.
"Oh okay...no problem mom!! I will meet her later on!" Raghu said trying to hide the sadness in his tone.
"Okay bye beta!!"Raghu's mom said and hung up.
At the airport...
Raghu waved his hand when he saw his parents...they waved back...his mother had tears in her eyes...she was seeing her son after five long years. They hugged each other...they walked to the car. Raghu was in a hurry he wanted to see antara.
They reached..Raghu's mother asked him to go and meet Antara. She could see the longing in his eyes.
Raghu rushed to the kaul mansion and rang the doorbell...Machmach opened the door...Raghu was disappointed.
"Raghu!! How are you ??" Machmach said and hugged him tightly.
"I am fine Machmach!! Missed you a lot !" Raghu replied.
"Yes finally!! My bro is back!!Missed you man...look at you...you look handsome dude!!" Machmach complimented.
"Oh thanks you look handsome too..how many girlfriends do you have??" Raghu asked.
Machmach stiffened at the question...he decided whether to tell him or not...then he decided to tell him later.
He dodged the question and said "don't you want to meet Antara??" He said
Raghu nodded almost instantly and Machmach called antara.
Raghu looked towards the stairs...he saw a beautiful girl coming downstairs...he was stunned.."Antara" he thought...antara turned her face towards him...Raghu was mesmerized to see her beauty...he couldn't believe that she is the same antara...but something was definitely missing...it was her dazzling smile.
Antara came and stood in front of him and smiled. Raghu was about to hug him and he had had already started walking towards her with open arms but Antara extended her right arm towards him..Raghu was shocked...he shook her hands and looked into her eyes...Antara turned her face.Raghu was very hurt. After some minutes of awkward silence...Raghu started asking Antara about what she has been doing since so many years. Antara answered only when it was absolutely necessary..Raghu would be staring at her face half of the time...but antara didn't seem to notice that. Machmach left leaving the both of them alone.Raghu realized why she wasn't talking to him and he decided to say sorry to her.
"Antara??" Raghu said
"Hmm!"
"I am sorry!!" Raghu said holding his ears.
Antara stood up and was about to walk away when Raghu caught her wrist...he was slowly losing his patience now. Antara was quite angry with him she didn't even turn to look at his face.
"Antara just listen to me once...!! Please!! I never wanted to hurt you...please try and understand!!" Raghu said trying to make her understand.
"UNDERSTAND??? UNDERSTAND WHAT RAGHU?" she snapped and looked at him..." What do you want me to understand?? Why you used me for your own selfish reasons...why you spoiled our perfect friendship..?? what?? You know what I am done with your crap Mr. Raghunath Naik...Please get a life!! You never cared about me...it was always about you isn't it?? Its only you...you and you...we are here too and I am not a puppet you cannot use me the way you want to!! And please will you leave my hand?? Never dare to touch me again!!" Antara just bursted...she couldn't control herself anymore..her eyes were filled up with tears...she was heart broken...
"No I wont leave your hand!!" Raghu shouted making his grip tighter on her wrist.."I WONT!!" he repeated.
"What do you mean you wont?? I am going to slap you right in your face!!!" Antara said...she was trying to loosen his grip.
Raghu was so angry to hear this that he just held both of her hands and pinned her to the wall...
"How are you gonna slap me..?? ADMIT IT!! YOU STILL LOVE ME DON'T YOU??" he said...he was losing his senses.."YES !! Ms.ANTARA KAUL!! YOU LOVE ME AND I KNOW THAT!!" he said again
"Love you your foot!!!" Antara shouted angrily and tried to move him.
The words pierced Raghu's heart..he let go of her.."YOU ARE LYING!!!YES YOU ARE!!" he said
Antara took a deep breath and marched off from there...she went to her room locked it from inside and cried her heart out...
PRECAP: "Why cant you forgive me Antara??" Raghu asked.
"Just get out of my room right now!! What the hell are you doing here in the middle of the night??" Antara replied
"Just say that you forgive me and I will leave!!" Raghu says again
"Raghu why don't you just leave me alone!!!! I don't want to see your face!! Please go away!" Antara says .
"Okay then..you will never have to see my face again!!" Raghu says and cuts his wrist with a blade.
"RAGHU!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Antara screams.
I hope you liked the first chapter...I know it's a little depressing but...it will turn out to be a happy one after a few more chapters!! STAY TUNED!!
