Recap: Raghu kills one of the culprit of Antara and comes back home wounded and shot.
he himself takes his bullet out and falls asleep after drinking a lot..
Antara was scared but still manages to apply ointments on his wounds and made him lay properly..even though on the floor
As you guys have already predicted from trailer that in this chapter i'll introduce Raghu's father.. i don't know if he was ever mentioned in the serial or not. that's why i don't know his name.. in this FF, it's Balraj Naik.. mother's name: Jyoti Balraj Naik
Chapter 10
Raghu woke up in the morning with a headache.. he groaned in pain as he tried to wake up.. Antara also woke up after hearing his voice.. Raghu recalled last night moment.. how vulnerable he was.. he couldn't meet his eyes with her and went into the kitchen... Antara got up and went into the washroom.. meanwhile Raghu boiled some water and sat on the edge of bed waiting for her...
she came back after a few minutes and saw him sitting there lowering his head down..
his wound was bleeding.. as she came out.. he took the water in a pot and was about to leave when she stopped him... she tried to take the pot from his hand.. "let me..."
"i'll manage"...but he stopped her and went inside..
he came out to take his clothes when she called his name..
Raghu.. i know i have no rights to ask you anything.. but...
right.. so don't... saying that in low but firm voice he went inside...
Antara knew her limits so she didn't ask anything further.. she looked in the kitchen but there was nothing to cook... he used to bring something in the evening but last night he came home in such a condition that she had nothing to say...
she cleaned the slab and other stuffs.. despite knowing that he will be angry at this... but she was feeling irritated herself.. she didn't know why but she was angry with his behavior..
after a few minutes she heard him groaning and she felt a thump in her heart.. "he is probably cleaning his wound.." she thought..
she sat on the bed clutching sheet tight in her fists... after a few minutes, he was calm.. but she could still hear his small whine...
she felt dizzy.. she didn't want to trouble him so she got up to have her medicines and then she realized she had a lone tear flowing down on her cheek...
she didn't want to make him feel weaker.. so she asked nothing.. and she felt a bit relaxed as she heard shower...
but soon after that she got worried as she heard some knock on the door.. it was Ruku... she was back from her aunt's house.. and was constantly banging on his door..
Raghu... open the door..Raghu!!! or i'll surely call machmach and break this damn door..
open it!!
Raghu was taking shower so he heard nothing.. but Antara caught his attention as she knocked his bathroom door.. he turned the shower off... leaning on the door a little he called her name to confirm if he actually heard her..
"your friend is here..and she is banging on the door.."...
oh! no! did machmach inform her... he got worried.. and came out wrapping a towel on his waist... (he had his underpants on)
he had soap foams all over his back.. and Antara turned her back to him as he came out..
what happened ruku...? Raghu asked..
Raghu.. open the door..
Ruku.. i'll come downstairs in 10 min.. i'm having bath..
Raghu..i'm calling machmach then...
okay.. wait..!! i'm opening the door.. but don't enter unless i say...
okay...
he turned towards Antara.. holding her hand he pulled her into bathroom and before closing the door he called Ruksana..
she came inside and saw the mess he made of this place...
then she looked at the alcohol bottle and a bed sheet torn into strips.. she understood what was that all blood all over the stairs and floor...
Raghu, are you shot again...
again? Antara mumbled to herself..
Raghu placed his hand gently on her mouth and instructed her to keep quiet...
her heartbeat raised with their proximity but more because of insecurity.. she started feeling a constant thump in her heart and her knees started melting in fear..
Raghu was wrapping only a towel on his waist.. and the recent incident that happened with her... she wasn't in a condition to see a man so close to her...
her breath was getting heavier... she was about to push Raghu and scream... but he pulled his hand away before that...
i'm fine Ruku.. it's just a small wound.. he said while indicating Antara to stay mum.. still closing her mouth..
fine.. you need to come out.. i need to talk something important to you...
i can't.. i'm taking bath..
Raghu, it's urgent... this morning i got a call from police station...
that's when Raghu removed his hand and made Antara to control herself from pushing him away...
Ruku, you know.. i don't want to talk about it..
Raghu... he is in hospital...
so what's new in that...he does that all the time..
Raghu...he is critical.. doc says he won't survive this time..
Antara saw a lone tear flowing down from Raghu's eye...
he turned.. and clearing his throat he asked Ruksana to wait for him...
he finished bath.. wiped himself in hurry and came out wearing his jeans...
before leaving he apologized to Antara who was standing in a corner.. lowering her hand.. with some soap foams over her...
don't come out until she leaves...
she nodded...
he came out and just wore his shirt..
Raghu you were shot...
hmm... how's he..?
i don't know.. i got a call from police station.. this time they are not taking him back...i'm so sorry Raghu...
Raghu sat on bed with a thud...
Ruku.. you wait for me outside.. i need to bandage this.. and i'll meet you downstairs...
she nodded and left... Raghu locked the door from inside and knocked a little on bathroom's door..
Antara came outside.. she knew she can't do anything at the moment.. and even if she wants do.. he won't let her.. so she sat on a far corner of bed..
Raghu removed his shirt and sat on the small table kept near the bed..
he looked for some cloth he could use for bandage... he checked his bed sheet he used last night.. but most of it was soaked in blood.. he picked one part of it that last night he put in his mouth while he pulled his bullet out...
Antara kept looking at his actions..
while trying to tear that sheet.. his wound started bleeding and he wiped it right away...
what the hell are you doing? she yelled at him..
he looked at her with confused and shocked expressions..
are you nuts..? your wound will get infected like that...
she opened the drawer he gave to her to keep her medicines.. and brought cotton and bandage..
use this..
i'm fine.. and these, i brought these for you..
Raghu, even i can't see you suffer like that.. please use this..
he sighed and took the bandage as he was in hurry...
keep the phone with you...
she nodded and he left with a gun without letting her notice...

hmm.. i saw her.. Ruksana replied but she wasn't scared of her like him...

if someone asks anything about it.. i'll tell them that you were with me.. and we went to my khala's place..
but i have never been there..you know Satya.. he will keep digging about it..
i know i do a lot of stuffs without letting him know.. but machmach handles everytime...

that man killed my mother Ruksana... how can you expect me to go and meet him.. he yelled at her..

Ruksana sat beside Balraj and hold his hand..

Balraj opened his eyes slowly and looked at her.. a sadness appeared in his eyes as he found that she was alone..
Raghu..? he asked in his barely audible voice..
Ruksana nodded in no..
is he doing well?.. she nodded in no..he still couldn't forget all that..
tears rolled down from their eyes..
i'm sorry uncle.. i tried a lot to convince him.. but he didn't agree to come here...
Balraj nodded in no.. he is still upset with him..

but she realized it was high time and Raghu must meet his father..

Ruksana came out of the ward and Raghu hid himself.. Antara rushed towards the parking lot..
Raghu slowly opened the door of ward and came inside..
he looked at the pale body just lying there on hospital bed..
his childhood memories.. when he used to play with him in garden and his mom used to cheer up for him..
it all flashed in front of him..
he recalled when his father told him not to disappoint and next morning took him to college for his admission...
his eyes turned moist.. he sat beside him on the bed.. and held his hand..
Ruksana.. Balraj whispered and called for her..
she is not here.. Raghu replied..
Balraj opened his eyes and looked above as he heard a firm voice..
his eyes got teary and his hands trembled in his grip..

he tried to reach for his face.. but he arched in pain..
Raghu held his hand and made him touch his cheeks..

tears rolled down on his cheeks.. Balraj felt his tears on his fingertips.. and nodded in no..

i can't forgive you for what you did.. Raghu was about to get up.. when Balraj seek for his hand..
I didn't kill her... tears flew down from corner of his eyes..

Raghu turned to him and looked at his father in shock..

he caressed his wounded forehead and Raghu hissed in pain..
please leave him.. i want you live a normal life.. a life that Jyoti and I always wanted for our Chintu..
Daddy..!! Raghu whispered...
tears rolled down from Balraj eyes hearing 'Daddy' from him..
he longed for hearing this...
I won't spare him.. I'll make his life a living hell..
Balraj nodded in no... I don't want you to commit any crime... I can't see you rot in anger and ruining your life anymore..
please, you go somewhere far away from here..
Raghu hugged him... and cried.. "i'm so sorry Daddy.. I'm so sorry.."
but he got up immediately...i'll speak with lawyer... i have lot of contacts in the area. i'll set you free.. let me talk to doc and see when you can get discharged..
you will be just fine..
Balraj stopped him and asked him to sit near him..
i want you to take care of yourself.. he said with difficulty... his breathing was getting harder..
Raghu nodded in no...he rushed outside and called for the nurse..
he saw Ruksana and tears rolled down from their eyes..
a nurse came and checked upon Balraj..
she asked them to wait outside..
Raghu sat on chair with a thud.. Ruksana sat beside him and hugged him..
burying his head in her chest he cried hard..
Ruksana.. Daddy..
i have hurt him a lot..
i should've listened to him... he is my father..
why didn't i trust him...
they both cried..
nurse came out after a few minutes..Raghu rushed into the ward..and sat beside his father..
nurse looked at Ruksana and nodded in no.. she came inside and pressed Raghu's shoulder...
Raghu took his father in his embrace and cried...
Ruksana herself was broken and was very well aware of Raghu's condition.. he was vulnerable at the moment..
she called Machmach and asked him to come to the hospital without letting anyone know their whereabouts..
