A hefty, black and tall man sitting on a couch in a lavish farmhouse picked up his cellphone which was lying up on a side table and dialed a number. After 2-3 rings,someone picked up from the other side and the conversation started.
Man 1 :- 'Hello...main bol raha hu...plan mein thoda change hai...pehle main jaoga us Raghunath Naik se hisaab chukta karne...tum bas tayaar rehna kyuki kabhi bhi tumhari zarurat padh sakti hai.' With that he hung up the call.He pointed his gun towards a glass photo frame which held a picture of Raghu. He pulled the trigger and a bullet was fired,making a big hole in the center of the image. Within seconds, the frame fell down on the ground,crashing into millions of pieces. Rage and revenge consumed him ...which made him speak cruelly 'Chahe tu kahi bhi chup jaye us chokri ko lekar...main tujhe dhoond hi nikaloga Raghunath Naik...tujhse apne bhai ki maut ka badla jo lena hai' He shouted and said 'MAIN AA RAHA HU TUJHE APNE HATO SE ZINDA GADHNE KE LIYE'
This man was one of the most deadliest and cruel gangster named as Swaminathan who happened to be the brother of Venkat. Venkat who dared to molest Antara and in return he got brutally killed by Raghu. So Swaminathan was madly searching for Raghu to avenge his brother's death.
One more beautiful morning had arrived in the Jispa village... The morning rays made sorroundings look more beautiful...vibrant and full of colors.The backdrop mountains were covered with snow and some of them disappeared due to thick clouds in front of them. Some women sung their traditional song while working in the fields.The whole view was very beautiful and mesmerising...
Antara squeezed her closed eyes when she felt a soft hand caressing her face. In the other second she shot open her eyes and jerked up.At first she gave confusing looks to the person sitting near her and in next moment tears welled up in her eyes...she started hyperventilating and finally threw her arms around the person...who was none other than Rukhsana.
Rukhsana took Antara in her arms and let her cry, her heart out. She didn't stop her from crying... as it was necessary for her to get released from pain and emotional trauma which she was hiding inside her since long..
After sometime only low sobs were heard while Rukhsana rubbed her back. Rukhsana said 'Ssshhh...Antara ab rona band kar...kuch nahi hua hai...pls ghabra mat' While sobbing Antara had some flashbacks which made her feel dizzy and she pressed her temple with fingers in return... She had the flashbacks of previous nite...when she had gotten out of her unconscious state and her eyes had fallen on a nearby mirror,revealing her tormented state including finger marks of Venkat near her cleavage.
The whole scenario made her feel disgusted of ownself..She felt that every non living thing in that strange room was laughing at her...making fun of her...making her face the bitter truth that how weak she was... How everytime destiny played filthy games with her...
When she had tried to get up from the bed,her veil had managed to sweep something and make it fall from the side table near her foot and make her stumble .
When she looked down...she bended a bit and picked it up in her hand.Her curious gaze shifted to the side table and saw a plate full of fruits.
Immediately it made sense that why she was holding up a knife in her hand as it had fallen down from fruit plate.She scanned the whole room and saw Rukhsana and Avastika sleeping together.
On seeing Avastika,all the horrific events came alive in front of her again...Emotions of hatred...anger...pain...devastation...frustration crossed her face while her grip tightened on the knife.
Her head turned back towards the mirror and she saw her image with a knife...then back at those finger marks near her cleavage.
She collapsed on the ground near the edge of the bed and covered her mouth with palm...she didn't wanted any to hear her painful cry and screams...
She felt empty inside and her face went blank ,making her eyes turn dark...as dark as her present had become and as dark as her past two years had gone after Dr.Ashok Kaul had died.
Her facial expressions changed as if the decision had been made...inside her brain...inside her heart and inside her soul.She didn't wanted to have any second thoughts...with her shaking hand, gripping the knife tightly...she slit her opposite wrist making blood ooze out of it.
She kept on slitting her wrist repeatedly with hesitation,making the wound deep..She kept on loosing blood...making her drowsy.She said while crying...'I'm sorry Mumma Pappa...Mujhse abh aise nahi raha jayega...Dum ghuth raha hai mera '
while saying that she got up and came out of the room...She reached the main door and ran outside...aimlessly towards unknown destination.
'Antara'...Rukhsana called out her name and she came out of her flashback thoughts.
Antara looked towards her while Rukhsana asked 'Tu theek to hai???' Antara's face turned blank and she broke the hug...She didn't want to hurt Rukhsana by letting her know how deeply she was traumatized...! Antara was good at hiding her painful emotions..so she wanted to ignore this Question...and for that she needed a distraction. She looked around her sorroundings and everything seemed strange.It didn't look like a familiar place to her.
She looked at Rukhsana with questioning eyes and asked her...'Rukku...ye...Yeh kaun si jagah hai...aur hum yaha kya kar rahe hai' Rukhsana smiled weakly in response and said...' Hum...Woh...' but before she could speak any further,there was a light knock on the door.
Rukhsana turned around as doctor had arrived for routine check up of Antara.Doctor went near Antara, greeted her warmly...and asked about her health.. Doctor checked on pulse and then opened her bag...She loaded the sedative drug in the syringe to inject it into Antara's system.
Antara's eyes widened in shock as This action had triggered the silent storm brewing inside her... A loud scream escaped her mouth,she tried pulling out her hair.. She felt as if the Doctor was going to drown her in deep dark waters where all the painful memories resided. Antara caught Rukhsana's wrist and said...'Mujhe bachao rukku..yeh...mujhe maar dalegi'... She got up from the bed and tried to drag Rukhsana along with her and said...'Bhaago yaha se Rukku...varna yeh maar dalege'
Doctor and Rukhsana tried to pacify her but she listened to none as her Panick attack was overtaking her senses. Antara ran from there and came downstairs while Rukku and Doctor were chasing her from behind.
She again ran towards the main door as she did previous nite. But before she could open it,she felt a strong pull from the opposite direction...making her bump into someone's hard rock chest..
A shiver ran down her spine with his touch.She looked up while breathing heavily and he glared angrily towards her... Raghu said with a fatal tone and tightening his grip on her...'Ek baar galti kar chuki hai...dobara nahi karne duga'
On hearing that Antara got angry...more tears welled up in her eyes. She wiggled in his arms but couldn't move a single bit.Antara cried non stop with a panick striken face...She started beating on his chest ,so that he would release her soon but nothing of that sort happened.
She shouted at him...' ch...chodo mujhe...Tumhari himmat kaise hui mujhe chune ki..' Her voice cracked while speaking the last sentence.. Raghu kept on staring at her.
Raghu spent his whole nite outside the cottage house in securing all the parameters and planning out their further move. During early morning hours,he entered the cottage and slumped down on one of the couch in the living room as he was exhausted...mentally as well as physically.
After some hours of sleep, he woke up groggily...rubbing his eyes as his sleep got disturbed due to the loud noises coming from upstairs... Nothing was making sense to him,he was about to get up from the couch and check on the matter going on upstairs...when he heard light footsteps approaching towards the living room. He looked towards that direction and got shocked seeing Antara running wildly towards the main door...she tripped sometimes but managed to regain her balance. There was no doubt that she had been crying out for long...her eyes and cheeks were wet due to tears... Her nose and cheeks had turned red... Her swollen eyes spoke volumes...pain,hurt,grief,loss and fear was present among them. Her lips had turned pale. Seeing her devastated like that made his soul ache... More pain was inflicted on his soul...when she was on self destruction mode... He didn't want to see her like that... Within some hours only her life was turned upside down... and now this tiny little human girl was under death threat too as the deadly gangster of mumbai was searching for her madly...and wanted to kill her for a mistake which she didn't commit...
Antara whimpered in his arms and said in an anguished tone...'tt...tum mujhe phir se usi andhere mein bhejna chahte ho na ??? Raghu still didn't understand, about what she was talking. In the meantime Rukhsana came running from behing along with the doctor.There was tears in Rukhsana's eyes too seeing Antara's condition. She spoke in a feeble voice to Antara...' Dar kyu rahi ho Antu...yeh doctor sahiba sirf tumhe behooshi ka injection hi toh laga rahi thi, taki tumhe jyada se jyada aaram mil sake...ab...abi tum bahut kamzor ho...lekin tum ho ki waha se bhaag aayi' Raghu understood everything and got more frustrated.He looked towards the doctor and said...'Aeee...madam...thoda rukne ka tha na...dekho kitna ghabra gayi hai yeh...!!! abh ek kaam karne ka...thoda wait karo aur phir injection lagao...aur waise bhi...tera clinic kaha bhaga ja raha hai...ha!!!' Doctor gulped some air in fear and nodded... Machmach and Pakiya too arrived inside the house...while Avastika came out of the kitchen and witnessed half of the things. Raghu gestured Pakiya to make doctor sit in the drawing room for the time being. Raghu leaned more towards Antara and said...'chal ja aur thoda aaram kar le...koi tujhe pareshan nahi karega' and loosened his grip on her. Antara shook her head violently in NO and clutched Raghu's shirt...she sobbed more and more...and in between the sobs...her eyes fell on Avastika's concerned face... Antara started hyperventilating...her eyes were full of Anger and hatred at first...and then went totally blankand dark...same as previous nite's facial expressions.. Raghu felt the increasing tension brewing inside her...before he could pull her back into his grip...she ran away from there... It made his heart sink...everyone present there started to chase her... she ran back towards the stairs and went up...didn't stop near her room. At the end of the hall,she noticed a small staircase towards a single door.She climbed the stairs opened up the door and closed it voilently before turning to see,in which room she was. It was attic of the house...a beautifully decorated room...but before she could see more...she felt a hand on her shoulder which made her gasp loudly... There was a long mirror in front of her through which she could see her reflection...and which she could see a manly hand too. suddenly the man appeared behind her...and when she saw the reflection of the person...Her eyes widened in shock..and an ear deafning scream escaped her mouth... Raghu who had reached near the door by the time ...heard her scream...and he understood that she was in trouble... He tried to open the door but it looked like it was jammed... Fury consumed him more due to that... Antara could believe her eyes when she saw the person...hate...anger...frustration crossed her face...At first she thought that she was dreaming but his hand touch made it clear that He was for real...BUT HOW COULD IT BE POSSIBLE???...AS HE DIED IN FRONT OF HER...!!! Antara turned back to confirm and yes he was real...as real as anything could be... The person looked at her with filthy...lusty eyes and said smirking evily...'TO TUM HI HO WOH KAMSIN KALI... JISKE KARN MERE JUDWAA BHAI "VENKAT" KO US RAGHUNATH NAIK NE MAR DALA'...USS RAGHUNATH KO NAHI PATA KI, SWAMINATHAN AAPNE DUSHMANO KE MARE HUE SHAREER BHI NAHI CHODTA...!!!!!
Antara shivered with the words he said...she started sweating badly... she couldn't believe her eyes and ears...She trembled and with shaky hands ,she touched her temples... She was registering every word he said...and it made only one sense... "The person who molested her back in the jungle had a twin brother too...who as ugly...as cruel...as evil and as full of lust as his brother 'Venkat' Tears sprang out of Antara's eyes...wondering why destiny was playing such a cruel game with her... The person who tried to crush her will to satisfy his needs was again in front of her eyes but with a different identity. While being in these thoughts...Swaminathan came near her and pulled her hairs voilently...a painful scream escaped her mouth again and more tears made their way out... He spoke angrily at her..'TUJHE KYA LAGA...ITNI ASAANI SE TUJHE CHOD DUGA MEIN...CHAHE TU KAHI BHI HOTI NA...VAHI PAR AA KAR MARTA TUJHE MAIN...MUJHE APNE BHAI KI MAUT KA BADLA LENA HAI... BADLAAA... SAMJHI... Anger flared up in Antara's veins too...she gained some courage and with a jerk she kicked him in between the legs...making him scream in sickening pain...With a jerk he fell down on the floor which made him more angry. He took out his gun and pointed towards her..Before she could speak anything...she went numb on seeing the gun that he was holding.. AND with a evil smirk he pulled the trigger... Before bullet could hit Antara...someone came in front of her.She screamed in NOOO on watching the figure taking the bullet which was targeted on her. when Raghu was not able to open up the door,he had rushed outside and with the help of his men had placed a staircase towards the attic...he had climbed and reached the attic on time...and took the gunshot on his chest before it could hit Antara. Raghu glared at him angrily and moved towards him...he leaned a bit and clutched swaminathan's shirt,pulling him up... when swaminathan gained his balance, he smirked cruelly towards raghu ...and dugged his finger into Raghu's chest at the entry wound of the bullet... Raghu gasped in pain and blood started oozing out through the wound...making Raghu more angry. Raghu spoke fiercely in threatening voice...'TU KYA..TERA VO MARA HUA BHAI BHI VAPAS AA JAYE..TO BHI ISSE CHU NAHI PAOGE...KYUKI ISKI TARAF UTHTA HUA HAR VAAR MUJHSE HO KAR GUZREGA' and with that he lifted his foot and kicked on swaminathan's stomach...making him crash through the glass window and fall onto the ground ..
On the other hand,Raghu fell down on his knees and collapsed on the floor...Antara ran towards him and cried like hell...She jerked him but he didn't get up...She didn't know what to do.She rushed towards the door in a hope that she might be able to open up the door and get some help. But all her hopes got vanished ,when the Door didn't open up. Antara banged the door like a mad girl calling out for Rukhsana or anyone else but no one came for her help.She turned and looked at his Lifeless body spilled in blood..Her heart died million deaths while looking at his innocent face.She cried like hell but there was no one to hear her heart wrenching screams.She ran towards him and sat on knees...She jerked him violently and spoke...'pls utho...uthte kyun nahi tum...UTHOO NA'... in a hope that he might open his eyes but it all went into vain.She went totally numb...thinking it was his end...and had a feeling of her end too. While undergoing through numerous emotions,she went and collapsed far away from his body...she cried...cried like hell. When suddenly a stranger arm came from behind and grabbed her waist...making her gasp...!!! Again she was near the same mirror and this time the reflection of the person behind,made her smile weakly though tears still made their way out..The person behind was none other than "Raghu"... Antara felt happy on seeing him near her as she had been through the pain of loosing him some moments ago.He pulled her more into his chest and closed his eyes for some seconds...to get relieved from the pain which that bullet was causing. He leaned a bit more and placed his chin on her shoulder and gave a dimpled smile towards her through the mirror reflection...she turned her head towards him while He lifted his head up and placed one soft Kiss on her cheek.In response she closed her wet eyes while he tightened his grip more...!!!!
