"Tu yeh gun pakar..tujhe iski jarurat paregi." Raghu said thrusting a gun into Antara's hand.
"What? Raghu...are you mad? Mujhe gun chalani nahi aati... I cannot use it...aur waise bhi iski jarurat mujhse jyada tumhe paregi." Antara pushed back the gun to him.
"Arrey apun ke paas doosra gun hai na...aur dekh Ms Kaul...ab behes karne ka time nahi hai...humein yaha se jaldi bhaagna hai...tu aaram se gun use kar sakta hai...bas yeh trigger dabana hai tereko...samjhi??" Raghu spoke in a low yet worried tone.
Raghu and Antara were planning to elope. They came to know about the true face of Daya Maai and learnt that she was planning to kill Antara. But when Raghu confronted DM about this, she threatened to kill him too. Raghu couldn't believe that his Maai do such evil things with him and Antara. He decided to fight against her but realized that it was a foolish thing to do. DM had contacts with the underworld and she could easily harm Antara's family along with him and Antara. He didn't want that. She had already lost her father because of DM and him and now he didn't want to be the cause of the loss of her family. So, he decided to run away with her for some time and then plan something against DM and Satya. Satya too gave full support to Maai in her evil plans to kill Raghu and Antara. At first, he was mad on DM for trying to harm Antara but when he saw that Antara couldn't be his no matter how hard he tried, he decided to help his mother in her evil plans. After all, he was the son of DM. (Dirty blood!!!)
"Arrey kaha kho gaye Raghu!! Bhagna nahi hai kya??" Antara's words brought him back to reality. He hurriedly arranged his things and put on his jacket. He put both the guns on the waist band of his jeans and covered them with his shirt. Taking Antara's hand, he quietly led her out of Naik Sadan. Both of them got into the jeep and drove out of the basti. Hearing the sound of vehicle, Satya came out to the terrace and saw Raghu and Antara driving away. Anger surged through him and immediately, he came to DM's room and told her everything. DM's eyes shone with anger and evilness.
"Raghunath aur Antara mujhse bach nahi sakte...DM ke dushman kabhi zinda nahi bachte...yeh bhi nahi bachenge."
Saying so, DM called her goons and told them to follow Raghu and Antara. She also said, "Raghunath aur Antara ko maarna mat..kyunki unki maut meri haathon se hogi...sirf Daya Maai ki haatho se."
Raghu and Antara were driving at full speed when he spotted two jeeps behind them. Each jeep had 5 people in it and they looked like dangerous goons. After some time, Raghu realized that those two jeeps were following them. He had a feeling that those were Maai's goons as they seemed familiar to him. He increased the speed and said to Antara, "Ms Kaul...tu darr mat...par apun ko lagta hai ki who do jeeps hamara peecha kar rahe hai...yeh Maai ki aadmi hai...unhone hamare peeche laga diya inko."
Antara began to shiver in fear and said, "Thoda aur fast chalao Raghu...warna yeh gunde-..."
"Boom!!!" Antara's sentence broke mid way as a loud sound was heard and the jeep skidded dangerously to the side. Raghu mouthed some curses and said, "Saale kutto ne goli chala di...aage ka tyre puncture ho gaya.." Before Antara could react to this, they heard another sound of firing. This time the jeep lashed sideways and hit a tree.
"Saala yeh kya ho gaya? Yeh gunde toh karreb aa rahe hai...Ms Kaul...jeep se utar..humein kahi chupna parega." Raghu almost dragged Antara from the jeep and both of them looked here and there to find a hiding place. There were thick forests on each side of the road and the place was very isolated. Having no other option, Raghu and Antara got inside the forest. The goons got down from the jeep and began to follow them. Raghu and Antara ran fast but with each step, the goons seemed to come closer to them. They breathed heavily of tiredness and nervousness. Antara's face was pale with fear. She clutched Raghu's hand tightly and ran as fast as she could.
Suddenly Raghu noticed an abandoned house at some distance. He thought that it would be a safe place for them to hide at least for some time. "Chal Ms Kaul...uss ghar mein chup jaate hai...lagta hai waha koi nahi rehta." Raghu said to Antara and got inside the house. But as he bolted the door, he saw that Antara's dupatta had got stuck in a tree near the house and they didn't notice that. But there was no time to bring it back as the goons were beginning to approach the house.
As Raghu peeped out of the window, he saw that DM and Satya had also come there. They both had guns in their hands and seeing the dupatta they were confirmed that Raghu and Antara were inside the house. They gave the goons some instructions. "Crash!!" The glass of a window shattered to a million pieces as one of the goons fired a bullet. Immediately Raghu pulled out his gun and fired back. He heard DM saying to the goons, "Goli chalate raho...par Raghunath ko maarna mat...who khud mere paas aayega apni jaan ki bheek maangne...tum log Antara ko uda do." Hearing this, Raghu's blood boiled in anger. They wanted to kill his Ms Kaul. He doesn't care if he gets hurt but he can't tolerate his Ms Kaul getting hurt.
He looked at Antara who was looking out of the window in horror. He realized that she had heard what DM said. As he was about to say something, she came up to him and extended her hand, "Tumhare paas do gun hai na Raghu...ek mujhe de do." Raghu was surprised to hear this. "Par Ms Kaul, tu ne toh kaha tha ki tu gun nahi chala sakti."
Antara: Haa...par tum ne bhi toh kaha ki gun chalana easy hai..koi baat nahi...iss jung mein tum akele nahi ladoge...main bhi tumhara saath dungi...ab gun do plz..
Raghu took out the second gun and gave it to Antara without uttering a word. Antara pointed it out towards a goon through the broken window and shot. The bullet hit the goon and he fell down. Raghu was amazed at Antara's perfection of aim. He couldn't help but smile, looking at her, even in this dangerous situation. Meanwhile, the goons got enraged at one of their partners being hit. So they started to fire continuously. Raghu and Antara too fired back.
The firing went on for sometime. Raghu and Antara realized that their bullets decreasing in number and they were losing the war. Both looked at each other with tears in their eyes. DM saw that the firing had decreased and so she shouted to Raghu, "Raghunath...mujhe pata hai ki tumhari goliyan khatam ho chuki hai...so achha yahi hoga ki tum haar maan lo...Antara ko hamare hawale kar do...main wada karti hu ki hum tumhe kuch nahi karenge...Bas Antara ko humein de do.."
Raghu clenched his fists in anger but he didn't reply to DM. Antara slowly came up to him and said, " Dekho Raghu...hum haar rahe hai...hamari goliyan khatam ho rahi hai...ab hamare paas ek hi rasta bacha hai.."
Raghu : Kya??
Antara: Hum dono ki gun mein do do goliyan hai...Isse hum Maai ko nahi hara sakte..toh hum ek dusre pe hi yeh goliyan mar dete hai...agar aisa karenge toh hum nahi harenge Raghu..
Raghu was horrified at Antara's words. He couldn't do this. He couldn't kill Antara, his Ms Kaul.
Raghu: Yeh kya bol rahi hai tu...pagal ho gayi hai kya...main tujhe kaise maar sakta hu..pyaar karta hu main tujhse...toh kaise maar sakta hu tujhe...nahi main yeh nahi kar sakta..
Antara: Raghu..baat ko samjho..hamare paas aur koi option nahi hai...agar hum yaha se bhaagne ki koshish ki toh who log hum dono ko maar dalenge...unke haathon mein marne se achha hai ki hum khud hi ek dusre ko maar de...agar hamari maut Maai ki haathon mein hui toh hamari haar hogi..burai aur nafrat ki jeet hogi..lekin agar hamari maut ek dusre ke haathon mein hui toh hamari jeet hogi... hamari pyaar ki jeet hogi...plz Raghu samajhne ki koshish karo..
Raghu didn't agree at first but soon he realized that Antara was right. He couldn't get killed in DM's hands and let her win. It was much better if he died at Antara's hands. So, he agreed to Antara.
The firing was going on from DM's side. She shouted again to accept defeat and hand over Antara to them.
Raghu and Antara hugged each other. They didn't know that their pure love would lead them to death. But they were happy that at least they were going to die at each other's hands. Raghu kissed Antara's forehead and said, "Mujhe maaf kar de Ms Kaul... main tujhe dard ke alawa kuch nahi de paya...ab meri wajah se tu maut ki munh mein khadi hai..." Antara hugged Raghu and said in a tearful voice, "Nahi Raghu...aisa mat kaho...tum ne mujhe meri zindagi lauta di hai... I had the most special moments of my life with u...ab mujhe khushi iss baat ki hai ki main tumhare saath hi marungi...swarg mein hum phir do dil ek jaan jarur banenge."
Raghu went near the window and shouted to DM, "Maai tujhe kya laga ki tu humein alag kar degi... abbey tu toh kya maut bhi mujhe aur Ms Kaul ko alag nahi kar sakta...jaise hamari zindagi ek saath juri hui hai waise hi hamari maut bhi saath mein likhi hai...kyunki Ms Kaul and main DO DIL EK JAAN hai... aur koi bhi apni jaan ke bina nahi jee sakta."
Saying so, Raghu pointed the gun towards Antara and she did the same. "Boom!!" They fired at the same time... "Boom!!" They fired a second time...one bullet hit Raghu on his stomach and one on his chest... The same happened with Antara too.. Both stumbled and fell on each other with Antara in Raghu's arms. Their lifeless bodies lay there in a pool of blood. But there was a strange smile in both of their faces.
DM, Satya and the others were shocked to hear the sound of bullet inside. They broke the door and entered the house. All were shocked to see the lifeless bodies of Raghu and Antara lying in each other's arms. The last words of Raghu kept ringing n DM's ears as she left the place in defeat. "Jaise hamari zindagi ek saath juri hui hai waise hhi hamari maut bhi saath likhi hai...kyunki main aur Ms Kaul DO DIL EK JAAN hai..."
Love is like a friendship caught on fire. In the beginning a flame, very pretty, often hot and fierce, but still only light and flickering. As love grows older, hearts mature and love becomes as coals, deep-burning and unquenchable.
I know its heart breaking and sad😭...but kya karu..itna depressing ho gayi hai story ki yehi likh diya
