It is confirmed Raghu and Antara die and their son takes revenge. Nikita and Ayaz will not be part of the show anymore after the leap! I am Absolutely DISGUSTED with NautankiFilms and LifeNOTOk
Foolish and immature decision on the part of channel and ph will lead to an epic failure. It hurts to see a show that had so much potential go down the drain like this. I am sure this decision will come to haunt all the NOT SO CREATIVE minds.
I am not sure what to say after reading this piece of news. I guess its time for me to find another show and move on. I am utterly disappointed in Nautanki. Ever since Satya marriage and now this leap - I realized one thing - NautankiFilms is nothing but a carbon copy of Ekta and they should quit advertising themselves as some unique PH as ultimately they apply the same tactics. The promos of this show promised viewers something else, but this is not it! I hate Nautanki and never am I watching Lifeok or Nautanki show again! I am so hurt today! I curse their new shows! #DoDilEkJaan to take 20 years leap very soon.

Ayaz and NikitaIf rumour is to be believed, the lead couple of telly show Do Dil... Ek Jaan is set to make way for a new couple.
The story, we have been informed, will take a leap of 20 years and hence, new actors will be roped in. The makers are currently working on the story post the time leap. Says a source from the production house, "Though not confirmed, there are bright chances of bringing in new faces to play the lead couple. We are looking out for a suitable replacement. A few other names will also get added to the existing cast. However, we won't change the cast entirely. Daya Mai and Satya will be retained post the leap."

Surprisingly, Nikita, who plays protagonist Antara, isn't aware of the development. Says she, "I wasn't shooting for the past two days since I was unwell. I am neither aware of the time leap nor the decision to introduce a new lead pair." Both Saurabh and Ayaz remained unavailable for comment.

This is not the first major replacement in the show. Two actresses -- Kamya Punjabi and Shilpa Shinde --- playing the role of Daya Mai had been replaced earlier. However, it is also rumoured that the show will end in February, next year because of its poor run.

We've heard rumours about the Life OK serial jumping 20 years. And we are told the producers planning to end it. The lead actors have quit. What is going on?
Life OK's Do Dil Ek Jaan starring Nikita Sharma (Antara) and Ayaz Ahmed (Raghu) has been getting low TVT numbers (1494) for some time now. The makers have tried introducing new characters, tweaking the story line and even replacing actors, but nothing is working so far. According to rumours, Do Dil Ek Jaan will take a leap of 20 years and start afresh with a new set of actors. The recent episodes show Antara marrying Satya (Akshay Dogra) after learning that Raghu is her father's killer. In spite of being angry, Antara is unable to hate Raghu. Unforeseeable circumstances always bring them together, making the situation uncomfortable for both characters. On the other hand, Satya - who tricked Antara into marrying him- is upset that no matter what he does, she will never truly be his. Fate will soon bring Antara and Raghu together again, but in death. The story will apparently end with the death of the lovers, and the show will be carried forward by their children.
The lead actors have confirmed in an interview that they are leaving the show. They say that the daily soap will leaping forward in time, and will not include them. Producer Saurabh Tewari accepted that Do Dil Ek Jaan is doing a jump after a month, but was tight-lipped about any resignations.
We've also heard stories about the show ending by February next year. Which makes a time leap pointless, no? Wethinks the makers will probably wait till February to finally decide which way to go, depending on audience response. However, we believe that with Nikita and Ayaz gone, there is very little that will keep the daily soap afloat. Nonetheless, we wait and watch to see what happens next...
DT Note: So The news is a heartbreaker I know. Let us have this one thread for ventilating or speculations on teh 20 year Leap. All news/Speculations/Tweets/updates will be merged here!
