Surprisingly, much less of Phattu in tonight's epi than expected! It is still about Raghu and Antara, and Phattu is only a pawn in the revenge game. Nikita and Ayaz were fabulous. Both Antara and Raghu are broken and hurt, but their worlds still revolve around each other. Just that the way they look at each other has changed. The love they feel for each other is still there, but it is clouded by other emotions- loss, pain, betrayal, anger, revenge. But the love is still there. Raghu's day still starts seeing Antara, as it would have if she had married him. He's hurt and in despair, but the angry Raghu is resurfacing. He does not accept the marriage, and asks for explanation. I am so glad he is not lying down and brooding over his loss.
Antara's feelings are like that of a river. It has flowed smooth for a while, but it is now turbulent, with the storm that has struck. Raghu is like the ocean. Once turbulent, it was calmed by Antara's love, but the loss has made it turbulent again. Antara cannot stay away from Raghu. She still comes to him, even though it is to inflict pain upon him. But every bit of pain that she inflicts on him is felt in equal measure by her.The river might have changed its course, but it still seeks to meet the ocean.
Phattu has no place in their lives, except that of a pawn in the big game that destiny has laid out for them. He takes his 'victory' for granted. He adds fuel to the fire that is Raghu's anger, and the more he does that, the stronger will be the fire. But Phattu doesn't realize that he himself will be the one who will burn in that fire.
