Who do you guys feel sorry for after watching today's epi? Raghu or Antara? Me: Neither. They both put themselves in the place that they are. Raghu by not revealing the truth and Antara by making a deal with the devil. For some reason, Antara's tears did not effect me. As a woman I want to defend her, but I can't because she's responsible for her own state now. There were several other ways that she could have taken revenge, but she chose a path that will destroy her more than her enemy. And this is not a contract marriage (by the way, is there even such a thing?), this is a real marriage with two conditions: Satya won't touch Antara and Antara won't touch Raghu. Well if she's made this decision, I for one want her to be loyal to Satya now. And the precap when Raghu tries to raise his hand on her I was like 😡. I know he didn't slap her but the even the fact that he wanted to disturbs me. I really wanted to stick with this show till the end, but yet again CVs have played the same card. Another show going down the drain due to physical and emotional attyachar.
On another note, in the offscreen interviews, they said that we were going to like this track. What on Earth made them think that? Does the Indian audience really enjoy watching rona dhona and idiotic characterization? I've noticed that these types of tracks helped the TRPs in other shows, but I can't fathom why.

I don't feel sorry for anyone but have loads of compassion for Antu, Raghu and Satya.
Antu - she had lost a parent in the worst way possible. Overnight she was saddled with the responsibility of a sick mother and young dependent brother. Then she fell in love and started to feel secure and happy again. Now once more, her life is upside down and her heart broken. Her first loyalty is to her father, and knowing the truth she did what any loving and loyal child will do. She vowed to avenge her father's death by ANY MEANS. The more we love the stronger we hate.

I want someone, calm and gentle to guide her during this time. The sad thing is there is no one there who can do this. She had depended on Raghu a lot but he is now not a part of her life.

Raghu - he has always been a lost child, trying to crave a niche for himself. He did his duty, though called a Son, he knows he is anything but. He worked hard, did dirty things all in the name of the woman he owed his life to. Then he fell in love. For the first time, someone was all his, to love for always. He became gentle and started to dream. Then he found to his horror, his own actions led to her father's death. Racked with guilt, he sought someone to help him and choose a wrong person. Again I don't blame him. When we are going through bad times, no matter how old, we seek a parent figure for help, love and compassion. He just trusted the wrong person, shame on them.

Like Antu, he too needs someone to guide him, show him what to do and to not lose heart. Unfortunately like Antu, there is no one of that figure in his life. I really, really wish they had bough back Aajji, she was their mentor and she is needed now.

Satya - Let's forget his dark deeds for the moment. Beside that, he is a pitiful person desperate to feel love and be loved. So instead of earning it, he grabs at it thinking it will be his. Someone needs to tell him that everything in the world is earned, yes even parental love often has many conditions on it. Unfortunately he learnt it from the best - his mother - that violence and greed is the main thing in life and what you can't have you take it by force. I only hope some of Antu's goodness rubs off on him but I fear there are other plans for him.

He too needs to be shown the right path because his own parent failed at it. I have sympathy for him because no one is born like this. But they are taught it from a young age when they are not able to tell right from wrong. As an adult, our behaviour becomes too ingrained to change but some have. So my compassion is for the lost child in him, the one crying out for love and to be loved. I think we all want that.

I as a woman may not understand another woman's action, may get angry with her but at one point I will shed tears for her. Because I feel compassion, will always try to understand the others POV even if I cannot relate and I'm proud of it. Without that essential element in our make up, we are no better than the predators in the animal world.
