Antara was raised and brought up in Kashmir. Her passion for music brought her to many new heights, but after her father's sudden death in a terrorist bombing she left her passion in Kashmir and moved to Mumbai. She lives with her Mama, Mami, Ishaan and her mom Geeta. Although her mom is the eldest Antara was left taking care of her mom and her brother. She continues to struggle with money and her issues with Raghu.

Raghunath Naik
Raghunath aka Raghu is the bhai in Mumbai's basti! He lost his mother when he was little due to lack of money and ever since has been known as Raghubhai. He works for DayaMai and also lives in her house. when DayaMai isn't around he watches over the basti, you can say he is the basti's bodyguard. He has two friends MachMach and Battery. He is also very close to his Aaji which is DayaMai's mom. Antara moves into the Basti and is the first one to challenge him out of anyone. Although he looks stern on the outside he is quite soft on the inside.
