Sorry I am a bit late to the party.
So DM bothers me a bit, and I tried to sit and understand why because I like my love stories angsty with a whole lot of pain and reconciliation , so what's so different with this one. I am not very happy with the character sketch of DM, she is a very formulaic villain with no layers to her and this kind of disappoints me. Someone like her should never be an obstacle to a love story like R and A, its the people with multi layers that you got to worry about because they pull you in a different direction.
Having said that I appreciate the subversion of the villains vis-a-vis DM and Aman, DM has been built up this benevolent godmother and like Anu mentioned , she is more like the evil stepmother from Snow White, vicious and jealous, someone with this kind of power and influence surely should be more self confident and less inclined to be all worked up over a mere slip of a girl. The expectations of DM have been huge and I guess I am slightly let down by it. Aman on the other hand I enjoy, again the subversion of a typical terrorist , Aman we ould expect to be more vicious but here's a man with different layers. He's got a heart and its bleeding with guilt from having betrayed someone . I would definitely like to see more of how and why he was involved in the terrorist activity.
Coming to R and A, R is being played around like a toy with DM but DM has made one fatal mistake, she has made R question why he has changed. The answer lies before him and though he did not play the mouth organ, I am sure he is going to racked with guilt. I hope we get to see a scene. A on the other hand is trying to be a strength and support for R.God knows he will need it but there are dark storms ahead for these two but I have no doubt their rainbow will shine through these clouds.
A suggestion to the writers, I know the DM track is important but can we have an equal footage of the scheming and Rand A scenes, it does kind of grate on everyone's nerves and becomes slightly OTT drama for us.
I dont know if anyone noticed the part where A tells R in the car, that your aadat cannot be done when you are with me, a kind of hint to the future. R will need to unlearn his devotion to Dm going fwd if he wants A.
Like everyone , the precap was I think he's going to get the ghagra for her and will probably present it to her in a future date but this man needs her like he needs air to breathe, she has gotten into his system, she does not need to guilt trip him like DM for him to apologise to her and therein lies the difference between DM's rship with R which is based on obligationAnd R's relationship with A, whichis just based on pure meeting of minds..
