So I am a sucker for angst filled love stories but I still don't like love triangles because its done to death and also because of the outlandish plots that get associated with it. However I don't think the new entry is going to be any serious rival for Antara because one, she's a Muslim character and I don't think the CVs will go that route because it needs mature handling and it will be a story by itself.
Another thing to note is that Raghu unlike Antara has been completely besotted with Antara for a long time, even through their phase of fighting and dislike, Raghu has always reacted to Antara's dislike of him, which I think stemmed from the fact that he was intensely attracted to her but she did not care for him. So Raghu is really not going to take much time to process the fact that he's in love with her and that she feels for him too.But Antara is stubborn, so we are going to need this girl as a catalyst to push Antara over the edgeš
Daya Maayi will be an obstacle but its needed to show that Raghu's love is all consuming, that he would fight against all obstacles to be with her. How would we understand the intensity of his love, if we don't get strong obstacles like Daya Maayi, obstacles like Rasika are just comic elements, she is never a serious threat because she holds no importance in Raghu's life, but Daya Maayi will be a different ball game all together and then we will see how important Antara is for Raghu.
