Chapter 1:
It was a rainy night nd Antara was still walking on the isolated streets of Mumbai...she was trying to digest the thinks tht where happening in her life...bt today it was too much for her...she was broken...she couldn't take it anymore...there was too much pressure...
5 days...5 days had past since she was in the hospital with her mom...5 days had past since she was madly searching for a job nd getting rejected...
she wasn't capable to do the job as she had not the qualification was mostly the answer which she got as a reason...
BUT when had Antara learnt to give up?? Never...
BUT thinking about todays happenings brought fresh tears in her eyes.
Flashback:
Today was another job interview nd Antara was prepared for everything...She was sure tht today she would get the job with her positive charisma, polite nd professional behaviour...
Taking blessings she went to the interview...
She reached the place sharp at 8 am nd her interview started jst right then...
And frm there everything went wrong...
Her to-be-boss- asked questions which were nt at all required fr the job bt still Antara answered his low question with a professionlism in her voice as she badly needed the job...
This went on fr another 10 min nd Antara could feel a lump in her throat as she couldn't find any suitable answer for his disguisting questions...she somehow controlled her tears as it was too much nd tried in a polite way to end the interview as she didn't wanted to do this job...she didn't felt save
BUT seeing her leave the man tried to stop her by touching her...nd tht was too much for her nd she slapped him nd tried to leave frm there...bt before she could leave his cabin he held wrist nd pinned her on his desk...he didn't gave her the chance to understand anything nd threw her dupatta away...in the process to save herself she got a tight slap frm him nd afterwards she jst felt how he broke her bangles nd started to near her like mad man...
for a sec she didn't saw any hope for her rescue nd cursued herself tht how could all this happen to her...
BUT when she closed her eyes she saw her father who left them giving her mothers nd Ishu's responsibilties to her...how could she disappoint her father, her mother nd her brother???
With this thought she somehow pushed the man away nd run for her dear life ignoring the looks which she got from the male workers nd nt seeing the symphatie look which she got frm female wrokers...
Flashback Ends
Antara broke down...sitting in the middle of the deserted road nd letting go of all the tears which she had surpressed till now which were mingling with rain was making her feel better...
An: Kyun? Mere saath hi kyun? Kyun mere saath hi aisa hota hai?? Jab bhi mujhe lagta hai ke ab sari mushkile khatam hao jayengi mujhe meri zindagi ghalat sabit kar deti aur aur zyada mushkile mujh pe dal de ti hai...Jab bhi mujhe lagta hai ke mujhe sahi rasta mil gaya meri zindagi mujhe ghalat sabit kar deti hai aur mere raste ko ghalat rasta bhana deti hai...
She lifted her gaze to the sky:
Papa aapne to kaha tha ke ache insano ke saath ghalat nai ho sakta to phir mere saath hi hamesha aisa kyun hota hai?? Kya main achi nai hu?? Kya main itni buri hu ke mere saath aisa ho...
Ek aur din gusar gaya aur mujhe abhi bhi nai pata ke mama ke treatment ke liye main kaha sae paise laungi...
I'm sorry Papa main mama aur Ishu ka sahi se dehan nahi rakh pari hun..I'm sorry...I'm soo sorry...Papa aap hi mujhe koi rasta dikhau...Plzz meri madad karo...Plz...
Suddenly her phone rang breaking her monolog...HOME was flashing on her phone...This was the 30th call which she didn't attended...
An: Oh God itne saare miss calls...mujhe pata hi nahi chala...
Just as the phone again ringed she picked it up...
Mami: Antara beta kaha hai tu? Itne deer hogi tumhe...Na tum ghar ayi, na tumne koi phone kiya aur nahi mera koi phone uthaya hai...Beta sab theek to hai na?? she asked concerned..
Antara controlled her tears nd shaking voice...
An: Woh Mami...main...sab theek hai...main bas ghar hi arahi hun...
Mami: Beta...itne raat hogi hai aur upar se itni barish bhi ho rahi hai...tu theek to hai na..dekh agar naukri nahi lagi to kuch nahi hota beta...haar jeet to hoti rehti hai zindagi main...dekhna tujhe isseh bhi achi naukri millegi...tu fikar na kar sab theek ho jayega...she tried to console her...
Antara closed he eyes thinking wht happened today:
Ji Mami...aap sahi ke rahi hai...
Mami: Acha beta tu paas main hi hai ke main kissi ko bheju tujhe lene ke liye...tu bas mujhe bata tu kaha hai to main Raghu se puch...
An: Nahi Mami..main paas main hi hu...ponch jaungi...she assured her..
Mami: Thek beta...Jaldi se aja...
Antara cut the call nd looked around to see where she was...
An: Mujhe pata bhi nahi chala ke main kaha agayi aur subho ki hi aise ghum rahi hun...
Somehow she spotted the name of the street nd slowly made her way home by asking the few people who were on the street about Raghu's basti...she purposly took his name so no one would dare to tease her..Unkowingly Raghu had helped her again😳
After about 1 hour she reached the basti...It was silent as everybody was asleep...she slowly walked into the middle of the basti where she stopped for a while to adjusted herself...she quickly combed her hair with her fingers nd wiped the tear of her face...adjusting the dupatta so tht it would hide the marks on her arms she made her way to her house not seeing the pair of eyes which were observing her...
Raghu was sitting in his garage with a hot cup of tea looking how the rain was pouring nd enjyoing the cold breeze when he spotted someone entering his basti on this hour of night...he was ready to fight bt he saw a slimt figure nd recognized tht it was a girl nd after sec he saw tht it was ANTARA...a really messed up Antara who was trying to adjust herself.. he had never sen her like this...bt she stil looked perfect even in this state..somehow he could feel tht something was wrong with her...the way she adjusted her hair trying to cover her cheek. the way she adjusted her dupatta trying to hide something nd last cleaning her face off...
Before he could move to her she went to her house...leaving him puzzled...
