Being honest here, the dubbing put me off. the filmy shots of the singing came across totally fake!

But I liked seeing the scenery, as non indian I've heard so much about the strife in Kashmir I was amazed to see some really unspoilt places. I just wish the telecast was lot clearer, not on par with SP (oops didn't mean to compare!).

However, what I am really interested in the synopsis of the show said 'an hindi boy in love with a muslim girl' but from what I saw tonight, Antara is hindu - her parents have hindu names. Did I miss something or got it completely wrong? Would appreciate someone explaining this to me.

I hope the preceding episodes manage to grab my interest, the promos made it look so interesting which is why I watched the first episode.
