Well R knows that he is legally married to shi n so will not even think of marrying sumi till the divorce is done .N he was never shown to worry abt his happiness or likes or desires from the start ,n after dajus death n his promise to him ,his only motto is to see shi happy n well settled ,so the fake marriage .

As for sumi ,she too knows no use getting married to R in real without the divorce done bcz she knows shi can turn the tables anytime ,as she knows her real face ,but cvs dint take this route in the love for sumi .😡

He wants his babyji to settle down first,then only he will think about his marriage, that too for sumithra not for himself. He never thinks about himself, always worried for others in his family.

When he had gone thru the rituals with shivani , then also it was supposed to be a marriage for short period of time, to be dissolved once his malkin and property were safe. Rashi had not planned for any husband wife reln.

For Raghu,Babyji's happiness is the priority...he is least bothered about settling in life0...He just want shivani to agree for the marriage... Second thing ,Raghu respects law,he dnt want to commit mistake of bigamy by marrying sumi
