After essaying the role of an aggressive yet loving boy in Star Plus'
Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya, the handsome and grounded Arhaan Behl
became a household name. He continues to enchant the audience in
Zee TV's Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se in which he plays Raghu.
Known to have portrayed diversified roles in varied shows, the
extremely cute Arhaan takes out time to give some investment tips to
our readers in our Lifestyle section.
How important is money to you?
Though money is very important for survival, it is not the most
important thing in life.
Are you an impulsive buyer?
No, I am very patient when it comes to buying anything.
What are the investments that you have made?
I have bought a property in Mumbai and plan to make some more
investments in future too.
What has been your most expensive purchase?
Having a house of your own in Mumbai is itself an expensive buy.
Do you feel financially secured?
Well, till the age of 23-24, I was the most pampered child and used to
get pocket money from my parents but later when I started acting,
started sourcing my own income. So to answer your question, I do feel
financially secure but can also depend on my parents sometimes.
Who handles your expenses?
I handle my own expenses but my father too looks into it as he is a
businessman with a good lot of experience.
What was your first salary?
Before picking up acting as a career, stock exchange and share markets
interested me a lot. So technically, I earned my first salary of Rs.
37,000 per day.
How much money do you carry every day?
I carry only debit and credit cards with me. However since our
country is not very equipped with ATMs in some places, I keep some
cash handy in my car.
Your advice to new investors?
I would like to advice people to invest in places that give good returns.
One should also think briefly before investing anywhere.
