I think right now he feels he has the upper hand because he doesn't have anything to loose. He will blackmail them and if they refuse to meet his demands then he can show the will to Raghu and they will loose all the wealth and luxuries. He knows how greedy J&M are so he knows they can be blackmailed I think that is the only reason he was happy yesterday. He had already believed that he had lost all of Rana wealth before finding the will and now there is a way to get hold of it again
