Anas as Suraj made me cry once before in 2012. And now again today. What a powerfully packed passionate scene that was. In those few minutes the entire DABH story seemed to flash before me. Can a man be so dedicated ...so entwined with another life like this...? Suraj made it possible for me to accept the possibility. His whole being has become an institution for what DABH stands for. He is so completely sold out - given all of his soul to keeping the Diya flickering to burning. And somewhere he understands he has to. He must.

I don't know whether to be thankful that the only person who could get through to him for a minute was Bhabo. He stopped long enough to look at her and give her his attention. But the horror he has had to go through will never be completely gone. Duty and sacrifice has now gone way beyond and touched his psyche very deeply. Is this a price worth paying? I don't think so. The show has certainly gone into deeper emotional territory here and is posing lots of emotional and moral questions.

It's good that the traumatic scene was sandwiched between the 'Mission' scenes. Helped to get some relief from the shock to my old DABH heart that was awakened and reconnected. The mission is going in its meandering way. Chandu is very likely on Sandy's side and she doesn't know it yet. While she is seemingly playing dangerous odds, she always has help from unexpected quarters who come at the right moments. It provides some lighter moments in DABH for me anyway. Phew.

Anusha, Beautiful post. I started tearing up just seeing him come down the stairs innocently believing he is meeting up with Vedansh building project approver. You know they have a chain to put across the bottom of the stairs now for his safety! 😲Anas was mindblowing. So perfect in his body language. Neeluji, superb as well. It was as though Suraj could sense Sandhya was facing mortal danger. Extremely pitiful. Deepika could not bring the expressions this time for me. Maybe her face was way too made up for the scene.

I remember your reaction to the divorce paper scene very well.😊

Thanks Deebz . you have the advantage of knowing a lot more about what happened before.

I was shocked out of my skin for a second and ya...was tearing up suddenly when he reached out to the fire and said Sandhya. I knew he had paid a big price. I just knew.

And the CVs then show Sandy trussed up by the villains and it didn't really have an impact at all on me coz...well...

1. Already I know that she thrives on these missions

2. The officer who briefed her said she needs to be very careful and needs a Lifeline 😆 ...and Chandu has looked at her Lifeline on her palm and said she will never die.

3. She is a Thanedaarni to the last and was questioning the villains even in her 'helpless' state.

Very true. We know Sandhya is going to make it. There was a rumor about this Chandu guy being like a Robin Hood kind of character. He might take care of her.

Suraj, he is going to be attracted to a Sandy like girl. He may deserve a girl devoted to him but still, can he even give an inch of space in his heart to someone else? Unthinkable for me.

Felt bad for Suraj but dunno why It coud not bring that great impact on me... as like other Surya fans I was too lost in the thoughts that Lalima is going to make an entry soon

See, I believe when two people are so much in love like Surya , they can even feel each others presence.Without Diya there is no baati .

So Im not convinced with the logic that Suraj has to see Sandhya or feel her presence in a new girl .

Is it like any girl who can make jalebis or has actions like that of Sandhya.. he will find an alternative in her?

Cv's woud have convinced me with this state of Suraj if there was no new girl .Suppose Vedh cud have been his strength all this while

Sandhya's memories cud heal him and by going through sandhya's letter which she wrote for him , he could feel she's alive and wait for her comeback with an open heart , being proud she is doing it for the country. Tell Bhabo convincingly to respect her daughter in law and stand firm he does not need to marry anyone else.

Yes lalima is gonna be Sandy 2 apparently 😆 Does this mean she also finds a cause to give her life to? Or already has a burning ambition? I doubt her only role is to be a support to Suraj. She can be a friend but don't know where it can go beyond that. Yes, Suraj is the other side of Sandy. Never thought I would say this. 😆 But today ...in his pain I saw SurYa and nothing but SurYa. Yes, she is married to the nation but there's too much of her wrapped up in Suraj which even she is unaware of. It surfaces from her subconscious side from time to time and she grasps at his strength.

I think he is going to find that letter the nth moment. I sure hope they don't butcher Suraj again. Without his unconditional, eternal love of Sandy, the last 4 years would be totally negated.

It would not be fair on Ved to have to take care of his dad when he is so little and still grieving too. It can have a long term impact on him. He has been doing it for 3 months already.

I hope they handle this in a sensitive way. So far they have shown Suraj's state in a subdued but impactful manner.

@ Sonali yes I agree I see only SurYa still. Where Lalima fits in will all be due to Bhabo am sure. Suraj will not even think of Lalima is that way. He is convinced Sandy is alive. It's what keeps him alive. He isn't even missing her coz to him, she never left him.

to find and read letter...he has to be functioning better. Maybe Lalima will somehow make a way for him to not need those injections and suppression of all thoughts. Then he has some breathing space to read another letter (why always a letter 😆) and switch to SV99 who is resolved to be forever Diya .

Suraj has been always strong but this time, the thought that she would have died in a fire is unbearable to him. He would notice the tiniest scratch on her, poor thing. Her having suffered so much is too much for him😭
