Two days back (9th March 2015), serial Diya Aur Baati Hum actress Deepika Singh slapped her co-star Anas Rashid on the set. The incident took place in the mid of shooting; where Deepika started yelling at Anas and it took a few minutes for the other actors present there to realise that the matter has become very serious.
A close source informs, "On 9th March afternoon, this incident took place. Deepika was already looking for a chance to slap Anas. Few days back, she complained about Anas fidgeting with the sensitvie parts of her body. So, as soon as she got a chance, she started yelling at Anas. The production guy tried to control the situation by making Deepika and Anas sit with each other into a make-up room; but it became out of control. The shooting was stalled. The technicians, production people, makeup artists were asked to leave the set for some time. Only the actors were asked to remain on the set to discuss this whole issue."
Both the actors have been at loggerheads for a while now and Deepika was just looking for a chance to show her anger. The source further adds, "'Diya Aur Baati Hum ex-director Rohit Raj Goyal who is now a real husband of Deepika Singh moved out of the show and the reason behind his exit was Anas Rashid too. Anas and Rohit did not share a good rapport. There was a time when both of them turned physically violent on the set too. This was really affecting the show's TRP. Also, Anas warned the makers about it and they left with no option but to replace Rohit with another director."
Well, Anas Rashid is not in a mood to settle this issue personally and has now sent a letter against Deepika Singh to CINTA Association.
Confirming the news, Gajendra Chauhan, president of CINTA Association says, "Yes, we have got a complaint letter from Anas Rashid and we are waiting for Deepika Singh's comment on it. I cannot reveal the incident, but all I can say is that there is some misunderstanding between the actors and I hope it gets sort out soon."
