I liked the SURYA convo in the lift. Sooraj talking about why he needs to reach home early, he asking her whether Chavi will like the necklace, she loves necklaces a lot, he wants to see the happiness in Chavi's face when he gifts her necklace. Sandhya tells him wherever he is his mind is always in his house aangan. Bhabo had never understood why Sooraj loves Sandhya so dearly. it is because unlike Bhabo Sandhya never interferes with Sooraj's role as a son and a brother. It is this non-interference that makes Sooraj wants to give Sandhya every happiness she deserves. It is this selfnesses that binds him to her. It is this act of treating his parivaar as her own that makes Sooraj support her dream like anything.
A selfish and egoistic person like Bhabo will never understand the value of a relationship as she uses relations only to bolster her ego and nothing else. Thanks to her selfish nature her other kids also turned out to be equally selfish as they also see their brother only as ATM machine.

The conversation in the elevator only showed to me how pure of heart Suraj and Sandhya are.
They love their family...and while that is a good thing...too much of a good thing can actually be bad for you. I mean it really irks me that SurYa are so naive...I mean look how their family is talking and thinking about them behind their backs 🤢.
I understand SurYa's devotion for their family...but honestly...I wish they'd come to the realization that no one in that house, maybe except for Bhabasa, Chaturi and Chotu love them.
Everyone else is a blood sucker...to them it's all about money.
When Mohit declared that they all have a right on the sweet shop...I was like...WHAT?!?! Then why don't you go run it. And it really angered me that Bhabo remained silent on the issue. She has fallen from grace so low in my eyes...that I wonder if she will ever come back up.
And I blame Suraj too...
If Suraj really wanted to do something good for his family...buying Chavi an expensive necklace is not the solution. He should have moved away and opened a competing shop. He should have hit them where it hurts...in the wallet. His Mr. Softy attitude will never make his family appreciate him...nor will it ever make them feel like they have to shoulder the responsible for anything.

very true...I just wonder is it a sin to buy an expensive gift for your wife...and if you do the same to your sis, you become a good person/brother???😡😡 what kind of standard is this 😡
I wish chaturi records all this conversation and give it to surya...the family is useless, one day they may attempt to kill surya for money, and I wouldnt be suprised if they show that

Fathimaji the shows message is a son being a good husband need not be a bad son or a bad brother. For that message they cannot take SURYA from RM. They are showing Indian society as it is and actually asking us is this right. We are saying it is not right. Indian households has to feel it. We all know what is shown in DABH is nothing new in our society. It happens everywhere. Elder son and his wife has only duties no rights. If they do even a small thing for them it is treated with suspicion. Elder son suffers the EA most from his mother and unfortunately most of them like Sooraj are attached to their mothers and feel guilty themselves for having brought guilt to their family.
In many families what is shown in DABH happens day in day out. Here atleast Sooraj has put a wall between RM and SSM though for 14 days. Many places even that dont happen. DABH I would say is the voice of many silent Sooraj's and Sandhya's that are their in our society. Those sons and DILs whose blood and sweat is taken by the family as they wish.
