According to some fan groups here.. I-F is the only way to judge the popularity of a show which is totally wrong ..Internet in itself is a very wide medium and u never know how many people actually vote or not.. I fail to understand , how can a show be called a popular one when it doesnt get the required trp? even if we talk about bollywood whichever actor give hits after the other is considered popular..Popularity is based on how many people watch u everyday i.e the trps ..Dabh has been popular in various other countries as well.. the so called show which has won in all categories has average trps while most of the time it was beaten at its time slot ..It might be too good for Zeetv which is never able to beat SP .I have noticed other channels are very much jealous because of the popularity and trps of diya aur baati hum , Its like Zeetv took revenge by not giving them a single award.

But what about the Internet views. People who reside outside India, and only watch it online in youtube, dailymotion or something. While I dont agree I-F to be the only judge, I also dont agree that trp is the only way to judge either. IPK might not have had high TRPs all the time, yet there fanbase is enormous.

Even the trps aren't perfect either as they had to currently stop the trps to find a new and more fair way to calculate trps.

@ immione Not only India,other countries also have a way to measure audience ,method maybe different but they also rely on trps.. so if any show is watched by people residing outside India it should be on top of their rating charts atleast if not India ?
I believe Internet is a wide medium ,if u say IPK is watched online , dont people watch DABH or any other show online too? If according to you trps arent the only way to judge whats hit or flop then how can u feel the views on certain sites is an authentic way ? according to my info dailymotion and youtube arent the only sites where people can watch a show ..and I believe if a show is hit , its hit all over ..If a show is watched only online and not in india, as a whole it lacks popularity and has limited appeal .

Whatever the reason maybe channels in all countries rely on trp which is still considered a better way to judge popularity of a show.

To the last paragraph. Unfortunately You are right, trp is still considered a better way to judge a show, but is it perfect and fully determines the popularity of a show. I dont think thats the case thats why I still believe that online popularity of a show must not be neglected, though I know that it is a long time since that is gonna happen. For the moment we have to live in the world of TRPs. But if the TRPs of two shows are very close and both are in the top 5 then I guess it wont be wrong to give awards to either show.

It's surprising to see u here. I don't understand what u r complaining about. Leads of SC have won awards in d same category. Guess is nt enough??
If Samud had won the best jodi it wud have been quite fair I suppose...

Channels and Production houses earn through this TRP game..Whatever needs to be done should be their concern and not ours who watch shows for entertainment.. Whichever system they adopt woud be generally accepted by one and all so we don't really have to comment on this issue.
As far as trps are concerned , DABH has been on top consistently since a year and four months .. its always on top with a huge margin.
its only been a week or so since Qubool hai was close ..

Almost throughout this year , yeh rishta was the slot leader while pyar ka dard hai was also consistently getting more trps than QH.Please get ur facts right before posting.
Also I know that for giving awards they see a shows performance for atleast 6 months or maybe a year.Its hardly been two weeks since QH was at no 2 with an average rating , nothing extra ordinary when compared to Diya aur baati hum , yeh rishta and even pyar ka dard.
