Let's face it, even perfectly logical characters are going nuts and making it impossible to choose a side and sympathise. Why make a strong story needlessly flounder in complications? Why make strong characters get mired in laughable emotional atyachar?

So let me get this right CVs,

Sandy is currently taking part in a competition, to please Suraj, because Suraj has given a guarantee to Bhabo, so that Bhabo won't break a pot.

Suraj is willing to give guarantees based on his super confidence in Sandy, which puts Sandy in an awkward position, because somehow, winning a quiz competition is equal to proving she loves him.

Emily thinks that she has to win money so that Mohit won't divorce her, because somehow, she has forgotten that there have to be proper grounds for divorce and even if she has to divorce him, she can actually live quite happily...actually much more happily on her own.

Bhabo thinks that the 2 people who value her the most, need to be handcuffed to 3 pots. She doesn't know that these 2 are willing to be restricted and forced into almost anything but she can't succeed in getting them to be an ordinary couple who produce kids. She can't see that she has no power over them to make them do anything they don't want to do.

Sandy thinks Bhabo fed her liquor chocs because she had no other way to stop Sandy from finishing her education. A simple conversation is apparently not enough. Bhabo has to become a psycho and have it videotaped.

Suraj doesn't know why Sandy accepted the blame and got a pot broken. He's not even half curious to know whom she is protecting, but as long as she's protecting someone, he's happy. Emily is totally shocked and confused as to why Sandy took the blame, and now her brain is totally messed up and she wants to return the favour by competing against Sandy so that Sandy loses and breaks Suraj's heart ...oh ya and also that last blasted pot. So Suraj and Sandy gladly take Emily with them to the competition, because, all this makes wonderful sense to them. They see nothing odd in Emily's need to stop Sandy winning.

...which brings me to the final point. None of the above actually affects SurYa and their ultimate goal of Sandhya IPS. So can we get back to the real story please.

edit add: I'll add here...Gov of India UPSC will accept Sandy's application, regardless of the above. They especially do not care about Bhabo's matkas.

Anushaji, Emily deciding the join competition makes the whole competition track very silly...no logic at all, no one from RP questioned the logic either...and Emily wanting to win the competition after sandhya's sacrifice makes her a worse, ungrateful character than bhabo and meena...what a selfish character, but Sandhya doesnt care, Suraj too...I think they are underestimating her...or maybe sandhya has started thinking that Emily is also like other RP members...

the competition track was promising but Emily's participation is ruining the plot...
agree with each and every word of yours 👏

I would rather rewind to before the competition. The matkas idea is what really undid the whole flow. Bhabo could have had the matkas, but SurYa didn't need to behave like it was a huge moral obligation to keep pots from breaking. Especially when Bhabo has become psycho Bhabo and they know it...especially Sandy knows that Bhabo is not herself.

Emily's behaviour makes no sense at all unless she has become insane. There's no logic...not even an ounce of logic.

want to see this in future.also wish, bhabhasa to see this video. 😆

finally, this all tracks r not related to surya,so as to story of dabh.then wt cvz.esp this 3rd matka drag, lets name it as D3M(dragging 3rd Matka).i want some masala drama with fun+sandy's IPS journey.not this type of irritating tracks.

well said anuma
actually the show was doing good till fb track ( i thought it was dragging)😆
but ever since emily has been introuduced she has eclipsed all the surya scenes
and the current matka track or competition track is not working as she is involved in it
only surya combination sells
neither sanly nor momily works
cvs would have guessed the wants of the viewers by now

I would say till LC it was fine. I was ok with IR also. But post LC things are going bonkers, I mean emotional atyachar pe emotional atyachar.
I mean I cant digest the fact that Sooraj believed second MP was actually Sandhya's fault. Doesnt he wants to know. I am surprised why he is not questioning her.
I want DABH to concentrate on Sandhya's dream and her investigations. If not romance atleast I had enjoyed her investigative skills.
Only SURYA sell not Emily. Let the TRPs drop more is my wish. This matka business has gone too long.

Excellent post. Have been busy for the past few weeks. Read WUs and watched a few episodes. DABH has definitely deviated from its main theme from being SurYa centric to RP centric. What I find difficult to digest is amidst all this madness she is going to give the Prelims and hopefully also pass it. An exam in which even IIT toppers struggle to make it in the first attempt a girl who is just a graduate with multiple people pulling her down and a husband forcefully pushing her in that direction is going to be shown succeeding. DABH in my eyes is no longer an inspirational show. Nobody is going to be inspired by this absolute madness. As regards Emily, participating my personal take is the CVs should not have given so much importance to another character in the RP apart from SurYa. The CVs have over stretched the IR theme to such an extent that it is now becoming difficult to digest. Having said that I however do not consider Emily's behaviour to be odd at all. I have seen many many wives during my life time who are well educated, but still take a lot of crap from their husbands. One recent example being Phaneesh Murthy's wife a person who was thrown out from iGate for having an extramarital affair. His wife is from IIM, Ahmedabad and Phaneesh has repeatedly cheated on her. Emily is just fighting for her survival. She loves Mohit and will do any thing to live on in the RM. As regards her calling Mohit's divorce bluff, I don't think it is that easy. It is easy for us to preach but to break away is never easy and requires a lot of guts. Most woman in India normally wait for things to change for better taking in a lot of humiliation and insults. Her participation in the Quiz contest is merely an attempt by CVs to dramatize the track and maintain the suspense element till the end. It is purely a TRPS game.

Welcome back Umaji. Forum was not having zing without you. 😃😃😃. I really agree to you on one thing.
They are making a mockery of UPSC exam. I mean with so much negativity around her and in a mad house called RP Sandhya is going to crack the toughest exam just because her husband supports her.
It has become a fantasy show , if it needs to be inspirational as you rightly said real challenges needs to be shown.
Balancing house hold work and study. Supporting Sooraj when needed, sudden illness to either of them, many other small deviations that includes festivals, weddings which Sandhya has to be part of because she is the eldest DIL. An evolving SURYA relationship along with Sandhya's study. This would have made show inspirational.
But they are after matka business and a Bhabo who is hell bent on destroying Sandhya, trying to employ any means for that 😃😃.
