@Shruthiravi
Why Suraj is silent? I thought that, by now, Suraj would be more up front with his mother. He is not! He had his trials and it did not work! So, he decided to be silent (as another strategy, for a change???)
The main problem Bhabo has, is that she cannot "see" what makes Suraj happy! This is beyond Bhabo's comprehension: in her world, bahu should speak less, work more and deliver children. She is so convinced that only this will make Suraj happy. Who should explain to her that this is not what Suraj wants?? And I cannot see how silence or/and obedience can help here! But, only give Bhabo even more power over the situation and a "bigger" ego.
That is why I think some "turn of events" could put Bhabho in the situation of confronting her outmost fear: loosing Suraj. So, I agree with you! I would definitely, like to see that. Now, it seems like they are going round and round…endlessly! Where is this road going??
So, from this pov, maybe, Sandy's failure is needed to bring about change! Perhaps, this is what it takes: Sandy being portrayed as "human" (breakable) and not super woman (which instigates Bhabo even more). Maybe Bhabo will have a change of heart seeing SurYa defeated...and she will feel their pain through her own pain!
