@Sakshi Ants:- I agree with you.👍🏼.It's unsafe to travel in the night. But it's just a drama n i was giving my verdict on the basis of sandy's character.. that's all.

n about nuttiness:- It's in my genes..

If you didn't take courage to go against your parents or do something adventurous in your life then it's not my fault.👎🏼

I like to take risks in my life time to time to challenge my fear n win over it...

good post and good replies...I just have one thing to add, sorry if it's not related to the topic...Ami's questions made me write this...

this is what I think...surya and especially suraj had been portrayed as too perfect, perfect son, perfect husband, brother and human...so what happens now is when he is shown hiding/lying, some felt that was out of character and as though he has committed a big sin...others including me think hiding things from bhabo is fine because we relate suraj's character to us (we lie to parents for some reasons, but we love them alottt too) suraj is doing the same...we saw how he was treated when he was very honest in revealing the IPS dream to his family...he had no choice...

coming to bhabo, we tend to forgive her big sins easily because from the beginning she has been shown being inconsistent in her attitude, shown as biased, rigid and sometimes selfish...if she does something wrong we forgive her easily by saying that it's her nature, that's how she was brought up, etc etc...so now that's why suraj lie/hiding things looks like a bigger sin than bhabo's mean act of forcefully making sandya surrender her dreams...

yes, night college timing is unrealistic I totally agree...hope Cvs will give justifications for this later...

Thank you for your inputs Niruba. I have already said the same thing in page6 in reply to Ami's letter. Yes we do expect a lot from Suraj as he is the hero and has been shown near perfect. More than that I think some where in our psyche it has got ingrained that this sweet couple have suffered enough and should have pleasant moments in the future. We are apart from the moral issue worried about the consequences of a later discovery and the wrath of Bhabo which Sandhya is likely to face. Till now in the serial right from the day she stepped in all she has faced is humiliation and more humiliation. Seeing all that it to me sounds revolting to having to undergo the same torture again for no fault of hers . We would like them to sit back atleast for a while and enjoy their married life in the true sense with not too many tensions in the air. So my take on it would be that no doubt I feel uncomfortable about the lying part but more than that it is the fear of the disaster looming large that makes me nervous. As regards lying to our mothers is concerned I do not think your mothers will be as unbending as Bhabo and as dramatic in response as Bhabo. It is Bhabo's reaction to situations that makes us uncomfortable.

Oh hell, what's going on in this thread? Hahahah, desperate people.. Well.

"1. Sandhya a young girl going all alone in the night is very unrealistic. India is unsafe for girls especially the North."

Ahem!🤓
As you know, I'm much younger than sandhya. And Denmark is a much more worst place to be, specially in the night. Sandy is over 18, which means she's a grown up. I'm under, which means I'm a kid. I go out in the middle of the night, without anyone. Nothing has ever happened to me? I usually only go out in the midnight for a little run or skate, but sometimes I also go for a walk. Sandhya is going to a college, in a taxi, which I mean is much more safer than what I'm doing. If a kid can go out in the dark, then a grown up also can.
Aur waise bhi, she's my sister. I got my braveness from her yo 😳

Sorry if this doesn't give any sense.. I just got rolled in the snow, so my brain is not working probably

Umdu - thanks for the sweet word dear but i am actually among the oldies of the forum & could be older than you ..

Ami - as you know the biggest problem with my reply is the time difference, i sometimes read the posts just before going to bed & often don't get to read & replies to many comments..your AK- 47 out reply was hilarious.. i only heard things bad things about the call centers but there are pros/ cans of every job..lot many ppl. work there & commute during night , girls works as receptionists during night time
the ques.. here how safe it is to travel at this time... i remember about 10 yrs. ago , i had to travel from delhi to chandigarh, after finishing with the visa formalities.. i was supposed to go with the car driven by dad's driver , who is a few yrs. older & worked for him for some years & was completely trustable .. my hubby was damn comfy about my going .. i didn't get to talk to my dad about this.. i only realised when i reached home around 12 - 12. 30 .. my parents wher e standing on the front door extremely worried for me as i was alone ofcourse , my son who was a baby at that time... even when we told my hubby's aunt a day before about my plans of going back with the driver.. they asked me if it was safe for me to travel with a driver.. i remember my dad was so mad at him .. i didn't give them a call during that time, its 6-7 hrs. run
Travelling alone isn't all that easy as timings aren't good
hope you read this(QUOTE)

That is alright. I was brought up in Delhi and know for sure that despite being the capital it is highly unsafe for girls. Eve teasing is rampant in DTC buses even in broad daylight. To night ka aap samaj sakte ho. In Haryana in the last 2 months there have been 15 gangrapes of minor girls. The government has announced compensation. Does it help... There are hardly any convictions in rape cases . Many rapes are not even reported due to social stigma attached. Some places like Mumbai etc are safer but not North.

@Umdu Aunty:- I kindly request you to put this discussion on a halt.
Let drama remain as a drama and don't interrelate with real life. Don't expect indian daily dramas to close as reality.

I don't understand why are you boiling your blood so much?? It's injurious to your health. Just chill na..🤗

@ Sambar.. Denmark is safer than Pushkar I think...!!! 😆
@Uma n Sakshi aunty...!!! I agree with you...!!! If she was riding in a private car or Suraj's scooter even... I wouldn't mind...!!! But going to taxi stand alone... And searching for taxi...!!! I didn't even know taxi can be found that easily at midnight..!!! So it was a risky idea...!!! The taxi driver was good but what if he was bad...!!! What Sandy could do???
