Nice explanations and you have nicely put the spotlight on Sandy.

Will be back with detailed post and inputs later as i am in mobile right now.

Your writings brought back some old memories. Got misty-eyed on reading this post.

finally I'm winding up the topic of Anusha here.

dear SamiR, now you must've got what Anusha mean to us. We all were waiting for her since last time we saw her online, three days back. So reading your words, and considering many other things, you've been tagged as Anusha. In fact, this is your first post in whole IF and we all beautifully destroyed it, giving the most awkward welcome to you. May be it is just a coincidence that your skills resemble her a lot.

From your words, I guess you're very matured and seasoned man. Most of us are kids only. So I'm asking you sincere apologies on behalf of everyone who tagged you as Anusha.

Trust me, now you will not be again compared with her. You will be known and accepted here for what only you write.

You're a wonderful writer. I shall comment on your words after reading again. And I hope to read a lot more from you!

To all my fellow DABHians, lets stop comparing Mr.SamiR with Anusha ji. It will be very painful being known by some other's name. I know it was a mistake, rather a misunderstanding. So let Mr.SamiR be SamiR only. I know still we have many questions unanswered. But for the time being, let them be answerless.

Regards,

JAMy

Nice and thought provoking post...👍🏼
Now let me add my 2 cents...😆
I don't think sacrificing her dream is proof of Sandhya being a sacha jeevan saathi..not really...I mean a sacha Jeevan saathi would have have trusted her husband enough to tell him about this aspect of her life. She would have trusted him enough to know that whether or not he could support her...he would understand and sympathize with her.
So I personally don't feel she sacrificed her dream for the sake of the Rathi family...if she had...she wouldn't be so happy and excited at the prospect of having it come true.
Rather...she had put off her dream...even talking about it to anyone...because given the circumstances of the Rathi household and age old beliefs they hold...it seemed pointless. Her circumstances at her in-laws place had led her to believe that it could never become a reality.
In regards to Sandhya's dream...it's Suraj who has proved to be a sacha jeevan saathi here. He understood not just her...but that fate had given him the responsibility of carrying out her parents' wishes...Not bad for someone who everyone considers a simpleton.
Now I'm not bashing Sandhya mind you. I think she's proved many times over that she too is a sacha jeevan saathi. She learned to adapt as well as she could to her given cirumstances. And she accepted her husband's family as her own...that was the most important quality Suraj had sought in a wife and he got it. That to me is a true sign of a sacha jeevan saathi.
Sandhya with many examples of her deeds...not only won Bhabo over...but she also won Maasa over by saving a relative's wedding, She helped Chavi pass her exams, and I need not go into details about how she taught Suraj to dream the impossible dream...all the way to winning the WTC competition. I can list many other examples...but I think we all know them.
So yes I think Suraj and Sandhya have both proved time and time again (or whenever the title track plays in the background 😆)...that they are true sache jeevan saathi for each other.

Fatima ji...!!! U have wonderfully described all these n how they r sachche jiban sathi...!!! I also think Sandy is a sachcha jiban sathi not because she stopped thinking about fulfilling her dream...!!! But because she accepted n treated her husband's family as her own n always supported others in the family just like Suraj...!!! And cause we r considering how good wife she is,not bahu... It was Suraj's demand that his wife will be helpful n supportive towards his family like him... And she was able to fulfill his demand...!!!

So, like I said before, my post limit as a newbie was reached yesterday, and I was unable to reply to anyone. I will try to do this now.

Fist off, thank you ALL for such a fun and encouraging welcome! 😊
@ farhana, MisscoolEyes, Deebz, ummesulaiman, shehjar - special thanks to you guys for the 'welcome' posts!
@ UMDU, shinseen, ayeshi, ummesulaiman, SAIBAL - thanks for adding your input to the topic! You all had valid points. However, to avoid dragging this thread (we all know how painful dragging can be! 😛) I will save my thoughts for another day and another discussion thread (I'm sure this topic will most likely arise in the future).
@ JAM and ami - apologies NOT accepted ... as they were not needed in the first place! Thank you for making my first thread such a memorable one 😃. And please don't get so formal; you guys are better as the pranksters that you are!
