Ever since Suraj discovered the divorce papers in Sandhya's cupboard, we have witnessed a whole new side of Suraj towards Sandhya . I still can't figure out what prompted this 360 degree turn about----- Suraj has become the "Taana King" never leaving an opportunity to hurt Sandhya with his sarcasm and harsh words. When Sandhya tried to question Suraj about what was troubling him she was met with a verbal onslaught of controlled taunts and sarcasm . Sandhya rightly guessed that something had hurt Suraj so greatly that his suppressed hurt and anger had metamorphed him into a cruel and complexed person alien to the man Sandhya so loves and respects ( even though she doesn't know it yet) .
What surprises me is that how can any man as gentle and caring as Suraj have such an about turn in character almost over night------ I agree that he is extremely hurt and thinks that Sandhya had filed the divorce papers and was hiding them , waiting for the right moment to produce them , but this doesn't justify his erratic and sudden character reversal . In my opinion the CVs of the show should have created some sort of transition in between this role reversal ----that way it would've come as less of a shock to Sandhya , his family as well as us !
One of the characters I most like to watch on this show is Meena bhabi----whose antics and Nautankis are worth waiting for and lend that touch of comic relief to an otherwise intense and serious episode. I do hope Suraj finds out the truth soon or else two "Bhabos " are one too many for the show !
