I disagree with you bhai. Today's episode was good and the whole thing was shown in a decent way in my POV. Bhabho's anger was justified though I won't agree with her way of punishment. Also, I appreciate her for returning all the things that was given to Sandhya. In reality, people don't return anything.

This scene is to highlight the concept of the show that Suraj is going to support Sandhya. Sandhya was sad, tearful, she asked for forgiveness, a chance to justify herself but when she understood Bhabho's firm decision, she accepted it and is leaving. She did not beg too much or cry much to portray a pitiable situation. She held her respect and has accepted Bhabho's punishment.

First of all let me make it clear I'm not supporting Bhabho here, I'm just narrating her viewpoint 😳

She is uneducated lady who handles the entire household on her own; she has a useless husband and untrustworthy kids. She relies only one son whom she loves and trusts the maximum. She wants the best for that son, imagine if she realizes that she has got a daughter in law who is more educated than her son that too due to her promise that she will get him married in 15 days, true she went to her house to see her but how much did she enquiry about the family she believed the matchmaker and the girl's family. She has not met Sandhya's parents and does not know her upbringing that she says only the truth.

Also we need to keep in mind the society in which the serial is based, where it is no accepted that women is better than her hubby in terms of education and talent. They expect the women to be hardworking but knowing their boundaries well. In fact I would here say that character of Bhabho is consistent, she threw out Meenakshi cos she faked the drama of fire, but she took her back believing that she was the one who got her released from jail. She also gave back the things cos she knew she doesn't want such a girl for her son, she is just not punishing her. In case of meenakshi she was just punishing her; I think she intended to forgive her after teaching her a lesson that's why she did not return her things.

Sandhya also is a strong character who maintained her dignity and accepted the punishment cos she knew that though she did not say the lie but she did not speak the truth.
