My dear do you have any sensitivity whatsoever!! The point is that the reference to the tern "handycapt" is not only offensive to a person with a disability but that it should not be used to as a medium for fun or humour!!

Their is nothing funny about being disabled full stop!! Call it what you want to in your ignorance but either was its not funny to poke fun at!!!!

They were not directly poking fun at people who have a stammer or are handicapped they were simply making a joke which was regarding Suraj's marriage. It would not have been acceptable if they were directly laughing and joking at someone who had a disability,

AngelBud you come across as a very PC person who gets joy out of complaining to ofcom regarding issues within British t.v., and it seems as you cannot do that with starplus drama's you find it easier you to come on here and complain. Also if you opened a topic and wrote in a respectful manner towards other members instead of calling them "uneducated" you maybe get a better response from them.

It was clear from the dialogue that the obvious and comparative questioning of the subject matter was intended as a joke! Which ever formulation one perceives that is indeed subjective to ones own sense of humour! If this particular line of humor was indeed not meant to poke fun then what was it intending to do? What could be funny about someone that is disabled or suffers terribly with a stutter!!

I think that this kind of humour in indian drama is not PC and is somewhat naive content of a joke!! TImes have changed around the world and its not considered polite or fair to laugh at someone with a disadvantage in any way whatsoever!! Their is no excuse of this and its really a lazy and selfish way of having a quick laugh at someone else's expense!!

The culture in india of being so concerned of what the neighbours think needs to be shook up a bit and TV can no doubt help in that!! DABH did not intentionally raise the issue for that reason but it was clearly done in ignorance!! I am eager to try and to patch up the damage done by this show once again, and suggest ways of learning!!

If ones opinions of ones self are based on what others think then one can't ever truly be happy! This is the cause of so much misery in india!! Join my fan club and I can help everyone overcome this!!

Its interesting that not many people are replying on this post! I know you all have read this topic and I guess you are all feeling the same way as me but can't find the words to apologise for it! Abusing people with a disadvantage is not fair and its something that really needs to shop!!

How can the writers ever justify this kind of abuse!😭
