Have anyone noticed how Romi was smiling from cheek to cheek when Rakshit pulled Drishti for dance? I find that really odd. How can you accuse someone of being involve with murderer and still cheer for them? On one side he was suspecting Rakshit of being involve with one eye lady and on the other side he was grinning ear to ear as he watched an alleged criminal drag his sister for a dance. Shouldn’t he be wary of Rakshit instead of beaming at his action? Who the hell is directing this show? Makers really need to get their shit together and maintain the consistency of the timeline, storyline, scenes and the dialogues before viewers lose their interest completely. The flow with the episodes is missing TBH. It’s hard to connect this week’s episodes to previous ones.

But even if he wouldn't have put sindoor on her, the pheras were already done, so she was technically half married... So if Rakshit would have walked off, she would still be half married to him, which would be na idhar ka na udhar ka... By putting the sindoor he just completed the marriage and if he wouldn't have done that she would have been known as half bride of Rakshit....thats what the rituals say... A disastrous outcome which would have tarnished her...

So imo Drishti should cut the crap and start using her blasted brain to join the dots to make up for the gaps in her visions.

Kaku, it doesn’t work like that. Sindoor and Mangalsutra completes the marriage without it the pharas and garland exchange holds no importance. If Sindoor and Mangalsutra steps is not complete then the marriage is nullified automatically. There’s no such thing as being half married. You are either fully married or not married at all, there’s no in-between. Sindoor and Mangalsutra are the two most important part of marriage, even if you haven’t took 7 pharas and exchange garland but completed the Sindoor and Mangalsutra part then you are considered married.

Kaku judie is right sindoor n mangalsutra e main things..orher than that nothing else matters.. i know in some serial they have shown this half marriage thing bt technically its nullified ..itv mein kuch bhi dikhathe ..it doesn't work like that in real life. Dri se shaadi raks ne apni marzi se kiya hai..bt whats his intention is wo khud hi baata dega jab time ayega to ..ya wo gusse me kiya ya wo chahtha dri se shaadi karna isliye kiya.. time will tell

Divi saying that is comprehensible because they both aren’t a great dancer, but from the surface it does seem like they know each other well, but Romi grinning makes no sense, just like him accusing Rakshit despite what Chiru told him.

Thanks Judie and Saru for clearing the confusion... Looks like I got carried away by our itv fundas... Lol

Having said that don't you think just by putting sindoor the marriage is done is a little farfetched... The pheras are there for a reason.. Both pheras and sindoor daan are inter dependent upon each other... One can't say if no sindoor no marriage or no pheras no marriage... Aise to anyone can smear the hairline with sindoor of a girl and can claim marriage to be done...

As far as mangalsutra us concerned it's not compulsory for everyone... Like in Bengali wedding there's no concept of mangalsutra.. Black in Bengali wedding in any form is not allowed.. But yes in Punjabi weddings sindoor and mangalsutra both are important...and Shergill's are Punjabi's.

I'd say Romi has fallen prey to makers inconsistency. Otherwise I don't see any reason why he'd side with Div in accusing Rakshit despite chiru repeatedly telling him that the girls are safer around Rakshit.

Cvs need to really pull up their socks. This week's episodes seemed so disjointed from the previous ones. And hopefully the next week's episode will be better. I'm really looking forward to that store room scene what with "had ghadi " playing in the bg.
