May be there is a chance that guruji is alive and keeping himself hidden until the D day... In this clip Pi doesn't consider him dead, she believes he disappeared. May be she is thinking that he is dead coz he hasn't made an appearance in all these years. And Chiru answers the question Pi put forth about blood as Mahima.

But the question remains the same na? He was old when he did that prophecy. I'm assuming Mahima's mother was long deceased by then. Didn't he know if he'd left only someone with his blood or a vanshaj? Actually he IS dead. What did Mahima say when Dri picked up his photo?
