Having only gone to Canada a few times, I have gone to Toronto, Montreal, Niagra Falls, and Ottawa. I liked the tranquility there as well as how nice people were. It does stink when it comes to there not being a Hollywood or many amusement parks. But maybe it is good in a way that there is not this toxic tabloid culture. I remember reading this interview of someone who acted in Degrassi, speaking of how he is treated pretty normally as he goes about Toronto. That is a nice thing that you are able to act on a show as big as that and lead a normal life. Also I think it speaks volumes that Ellen Page is a huge star but still chooses to live in Halifax in her downtime because she prefers it there. As for the amusement parks, I hate to sound harsh, but climate does play a factor probably. There is a reason Dineyworld is in Florida and Disneyland is in Southern California. But you all should have rollercoaster themed amusement parks at least like SixFlags?
Like cameroon 16 said, you live in a much more liberal country unlike the U.S. I love Prime Minister's Questions and the fact that the prime minister is forced to account for his problems. While our bumbling president could not it through a minute of that and refuses to acknowledge reality and likes to warmonger. Oh and while young people are forced to sacrifice their lives on a war of his choosing while he goes on to celebrate the weddings of his children. Sorry that is just me, but I have hated the leadership of the last 8 years.
