Hey that's awesome sweetie!! I'm writing a story too, not a novel. It's sorta like an english assignment. Of course, since it's school required it's clean but it's about mature relationships between people. It's for my class, "Social Connections"...
You should write it in third person though, that way the reader will get a view on all of the character's emotions/feelings.
Although if you're going to post it here then I'd suggest you make a topic in the Fan-Fiction section as this is only for Disney World.😳
