Dylan and his mom reach the same jewelery shop as Dabbu and Aseem but they get busy talking with Juliet's friend in the parking while Dabbu and Aseem go ring shopping. Dabbu is least interested and keep saying nice to all the rings Aseem show her, even an empty box. Dylan goes inside the shop to collect Juliet's pearls while she talks with her friend. Dabbu chooses a simple ring for herself and asks Aseem to select a ring for himself too. She then notices an aquarium in the shop and goes to see them. Dylan also reaches just then and he too goes to stand on the other side of the aquarium and feels that the girl behind is the same as that night in the restaurant. He decides to see who she is and turns around and sees Dabbu there and is shocked. He realizes that that night in the restaurant too it was Debjani and he is feeling the same way he felt that night. He is lost in thoughts when Juliet turns up and Dabbu is broken from her reverie with her words. As they are just about to talk, Aseem comes from behind and interrupts them. he tries to act goody in front of Juliet and Dylan gets angry. Juliet sees him clenching his fists. Aseem then forces Juliet to tell that the ring Dabbu selected is too simple, but she says that the ring should be of Debjani's choice only. She then says Debjani doesn't need diamonds as she herself is a diamond and that Aseem is very lucky guy. Aseem also rubs in that yes he is a very lucky boy. Dylan gets angry and asks his mom if they are ready to leave. They all leave.
Mamtaji is preparing the budget and is worried seeing the expenses when Chandi comes and asks for Rs 20000 for buying fabric for Aseem's and Dabbu's dresses. Mamtaji is more worried and so Anji offers Rs 200000 which Mamtaji refuses at first, but she forces her to take them. They then have a light moment with Eshu.
As Aseem and Dabbu are coming out of the jewelry shop when Chaddha calls him and orders him to come to the same pub with his brother. Dabbu asks what's wrong and he could tell her, she could help him if its office tension. Aseem shouts at her not to bother and come fast. Dabbu gets too upset and while sitting in the car, drops the engagement ring. Aseem is thinking how to handle the situation as he took out Chaddha's anger on her. He then apologizes to her and says he was too stressed but he should not have shouted. Dabbu says its ok and smiles, and Aseem says she should keep smiling always. Dylan just then comes out and his mom asks if he had taken the receipt and he says he thought she were to take it. Juliet understands his mental state and goes to collect the receipt.
Dylan comes out and is about to trip as his shoe lace come loose. He bends down to tie them and thats' when he notices that Dabbu has dropped the ring she had bought. At Dabbu's home everyone is worried that the ring is lost. Mamtaji scolds her for being careless and Dabbu gets more upset and LN scolds Mamtaji for shouting at her. LN consoles Dabbu who is crying by now. Just then the doorbell rings and Dabbu goes to check the door. She finds Dylan there and is surprised.
Precap: Dylan overhears Chaddha telling Vicky and Aseem how Debjani has become a pawn in the game and LN Thakur has no idea what game you are playing with their family.
