Super Atul!!

Everyone seems to have gone ga-ga over Armaan-Ridz (believe me, I am one of them😳) but to me, the real life of this show is currently the cutie-pie Atul!😆😆 Atul is like the perennial joker, the class clown who keeps everyone entertained with his comedy and his occasional gaffes and follies. But he's different from all the stock comic characters because he actually has the whole package - he has a strong sense of pride in his country, his planet and in nature; he has intelligence (of course, he had to, he's a doctor!) and he has a heart - I don't think he does or can think bad of anyone. He's quick to respond to emotions - "apni Sapna", and is ready to help out someone he has only known for a few weeks - Ridz.

To me, he is one of the most interesting of the fivesome; he reminds me of classic Omi from Sanjeevani - always the joker and "shoulder to cry on". I think there is a lot more to this character that can be explored. His background, upbringing, his family life. And something also makes me think - is his laughter a front for some inner pain? Is there something painful in his past that he is hiding with his jokes? Whatever the case, I feel that Atul, while he might be a "secondary lead" - when thinking of the love triangle between Anju-Ridz-Armaan - will and should play a far more important role in the story in the future.

Yep... I agree that Atul is extremely funny, and he knows how to keep the pressure off when everyone is intesed in the hospital... He's just so innocent that i feel sorry for him, and he doesn't even realise how funny he is 😆

I see Atul as one of the humorous supporting characters just like Sapna. but I agree that he will take center stage later on in the show, when the Armaan-Rids romance has gotten off the ground. He is definitely a sweet person, and he always plays these harmless, good guy type roles when you see him onscreen. Notice when he's not joking and laughing, he is singing his heart out! But always in a good mood.

I agree Vas, and the friendship he shares with Ridz may be able to edge Anjali out of the relationship of AR-Ridz-Anj triangle, but I hope Ridz belives in Armaan now, cause Ridz can be easily brainwished by Angie 😕 😳

Ridz is still under the illusion that Angie is her sister; while she might techinally be related to her (or not, as the case may be), Angie is not Ridz' sister in any sense of the word - and the sooner Ridz realises that, the better!

But Atul can definitely be Ridz' "sahara" when it comes to probs with Angie and Armaan. IF Angie and Armaan DO get together 😡 , then Atul is the guy who will support Ridz and tell her to get on with her life; again I am drawing comparisons, but can't help it because I really do see te similiarites - Atul is to Ridz what Omi was to Juhi: a true and lifelong friend.

I've been in love with Atul's character since the start. The guy is truly pure and natural. There is an innocence about Riddz that's all about trusting people and caring about them, but then there is the innocence that Atul possess - "Nahi, Bohot time waste hojayega 😆 - or - "Attached Bathroom, bhi hai?" 😲 😆 When he talks you can truly tell that it is without any previous thinking being done 😆

If Armaan and Anjali do ever happen, and Riddz is in Devdas-mode, I have a feeling that Sapna and Atul's will be standing right by her, and making a plan.

he's a very funny n innocent guy i really like him adds some punch to the show...yea maybe he is trying to hide his pains through laughter coz he has never told abt his parents jzt his aunt...so maybe he is an orphan

So I see many Atulis here. Cool. Yes, i also feel that Atul is not remotely calculating in his personality and his humor is good-natured, not the cutting kind. I see him being supportive of Ridz regardless, and this also has nothing to do with her position as boss' daughter.

Atul is sort of adorable. 😳 😆
