I never ever liked Ridhima not even from the start - she just wasn't that strong but she was definitely more stronger then than she is now. and yes she might have been innocent at times but most of the time she was just plain old dumb naive. and trust me - innocence and naive are two different things. like you said Neetz, innocence does not justify her weaknesses.

I wanted SR because Sid was finally making Ridhima realise the harsh reality and yes traces of a stronger Ridhima was found when Sid was obviously not treating Ridhima the way she is normally used to. He only gave her the support she needed - not the excess pampering that she always got which made her sooo dependant.

And its not only that i support this certain couple etc because right now i don't support either SR or AR because both Armaan and Sid were used by Ridhima, they deserve better. Someone earlier had commented that she kept Sid on a 'leash' and didn't let Armaan out of her grasp - so true! it is unfair to what she had done to them because Armaan and Sid on their own are generally nice characters but when Ridhima gets involved its as if she just makes everything else nasty around her. She actually goes deeper into the problem instead of digging herself out of it and she drags down ppl with her while she digs her own pit of problems

She can never be satisfied, she pities herself and expects others to pity her as well in fact i remember that KaSh/AR scene after Ridhima was moping about her adoption and Armaan had blatantly told her that she shouldn't think of herself as the only one who is going through rough times because ppl have it much worse...that was one of those times when Armaan did not pamper her but told her straight up..i loved that and i miss that! If Armaan could still be straight up with Ridhima then it would have been much better..i realise now that Ridhima made him weaker. She ruined the lives of the close ppl around her.

I love strong characters and that is why i loved the character Shilpa Malhotra but now is not the time to go into a essay on that character😆. Someone earlier had also said that they liked watching strong characters because they are people who get back up after falling - something that Ridhima wasn't able to do or even try to do on her own.

All i can say is that i completely agree with youu!
I admit i never hated Ridz in the beginning...i only started disliking her in DMG season 2! lol!

She's a disgrace to women today...women in the 21st century are not like her...she really is confused, totally dependant on others, unstable and unconfident! I believe she is from a whole different era..actually wait..im hoping even women then weren't like her! lol!

and same here..i hate Ekta Kapoor..coz no matter how good her shows are at the beginning she always ruins them herself! and now ive found a creative team that are even worse then her!
I can't express how happy i am that DMG is ending! =)

Ohhh I thought of another reason as to why she is bashed: she is very 'realistic'. And you know how we hate reality, hence we hate her :(
