Is sid insecure? - Page 12

I always thought that Sid is caught in a situation where he can't help but be insecure..He has married a girl who he has seen going crazy looking for her lover..he has witnessed her attempting suicide and then he has seen Armaan sacrifice everything for Riddhima..even though Riddhima has time and again assured him that she wants to stay with him,but cmon! he knows Riddhima to an extent now..thats the reason he is always cautios when dealing with her..Thats the reason he knew that Riddhima was NOT ready to consummate their relationship even though she pretended she was.her body language that day was enough for Sid to understand that she was NOT ready..and now Riddhima's concern for Armaan all the time..Ofcourse he is insecure!!!! His dialogue yesterday when he expressed his fear of AR closeness and today when he said that he'l look up for girls for Armaan,so that he can have Riddhima all by himself shows he is insecure..I was actually disappointed with Sid today when he kept mum the whole time Shilpa was blabbering about Armaan being khadoos ..Sid knows why Armaan is stressed but he didnt say anything to shilpa regarding that..why??? well..not very clean,eh?! lets see how cv's handle Sid now..coz in the last couple of epi, he HAS been shown insecure.

okay..coming back to ur points..

1) he allowed her becuz he couldn't stop her, i think.... he had to let her to do it cuz its RIDDHIMA and she does wat she needs to....thatz it... and if he wasn't then he wouldn't have been so concerned about the closeness between AR.. Look that's your perspective, and that too a biased one as an AR fan. You can percieve his reasons to be whatever, but he did let her and didn't even make any issue about it, so let's appreciate that fact and give him credit for being so understanding. As I said before, he might be insecure but then their relationship is very new, and Armaan's been a big part of her life, hence these issues.

2) yes, he has shown it before....but has EXPRESSED it too...he was jealous, mad, wanted Riddhima to stay away from Abhi...but he said it like that...he didn't sugar coat it...he was jealous and it was crystal clear to everyone.... Okay but then how does that blacklist Sid? I'm not being biased and I love Armaan, but don't you think Sid handled it better than Armaan? Armaan was like this angry bull, so do you want Sid to also go about this rage?
I think Armaan was really jealous. Sid is a mix: he is insecure (which I feel is justified given AR's history) and he does care about Armaan too.

the problem isnt' that sid is insecure or worried about his relationship...anyone would be regardless of how long they have been together...its a natural feeling...however, to USE Armaan and "takin care of his future" isn't right..cuz all in all, Sid is helping himself, not Armaan....Armaan MAY BE helped along the way..but the FIRST thing that crossed his mind was a way of having Riddhima to himself... and not worrying about AR hooking up again.... As I said above, it's a mix of both. Everyone's opinions are biased, but try to think about it a little from Sid's perspective. I don't think it's just about helping himself. Initially it was all Armaan and you can't deny that, this new bit about himself is all b/c Mrs. Modi thinks she's somehow "helping" her ex by being close to him (btw the lady deserves to be checked up). So no I don't think it's all about himself.

Hmm I saw this post coming as soon as he said that dialogue. I'm not sure if he is or not, and frankly I'm not much of an SR fan and hardly pay any attention to their scenes.
However I was thinking of 2 points:
1. If he were, then would he have allowed his wife to work with her ex? (I don't think she should have, but not b/c there are any chances of them being together but b/c her presence will bring pain to Armaan...but that's not related to this topic)
2. Wasn't Armaan showing this insecurity with Abhi and Riddhima? And these two had been in love for a long time, but still he was insecure. The SR relationship is still very new, and Armaan had been a big part of Riddhima's life, so isn't this insecurity or whatever it is somewhat justified?
