Great post

This is one of the main reason why Sid is pushing her away - to set her free and also himself, before the L trip he lost hope when she never showed up, and cruel fate was mocking him again, and then the call from TJ got his hopes up again and then what he saw destroyed him - and now he wishes not to have any hope or anything, and feels he needs to let RIdz go - and also free of her duties that she is abiding to

If him being mean and selfish can make her leave then he will, but by all means his love is selfless even to this day

If only Sid knew - what her feelings are for him truly

Everyone talks about Armaan giving up Ridz and is being selfless in uniting SR..

But think of Sid - he is married to his love of life but now knows that it is never meant to be..

Even worse, his love wants to stay with him bound to her duty and is willing to share her feelings readily with her ex than her husband..

Ridz is beginning to realize that to an extent now..But as long as Armaan is wandering around Ridz, I wonder how its going to be otherwise..

exactly yaar, sid is the one agonizing, but he needs to be given the realization that his wife cares for him and wants to be with him out of choice and love. xx

Thanks Lenzy yaar && exactly he is completely selfless, all he ever wanted was the love of his wife, but he never denied her of her choices, he has always given her the choice to leave him, now he has lost all hope of them being together, so now instead of giving her a choice to leave he will do all it takes to set her free to make her, because he doesn't want to be a burden to her anymore, he loves her with all his heart, but because he does not know how she feels, he will be under constant misinterpretation, wish ridzy would tell him yaar. xx

first of all, amazing post👏

whatever you said tazzy is absolutely correct, sid is a selfless lover, he always has been from day one till now, all he ever wanted was his wife ridz happiness, he never thought about him or his feelings. even when he is in pain and agoney, all he thinks about is how to make a way out for ridz to leave him so she can be happy with her ex., he knows what he has to do, to make his soulmate leave him, and he will make sure he succede in that, b/c our sid is always like that, to make others happy, he will go to any extend.

some of the things sid said touches my heart and soul very deeply, and this is one of those:

-i thought i will endure every pain of yours as mine riddhima, to just bring the smile back on your face, but the pain you have given me, i don't think i will ever be able to forget that, how will i ever forget this pain, how!!!!!!!

sid is one of those persone that parents wished for their daughter as a soulmate,husband and a friend that will stand by you from thick and thin, who will make you feel alive everytime the world turns away from you, sid is god gift from heaven for ridz, but ridz has messed up that pretty bad, she has hurt the one person who would have endure all the pain in the world for her, and now she might loose that one person b/c he is hell bent on sending her away from him for forever.

the person who hurts you the most is the person who will always be closer to your heart and sid will always be closer to ridz heart, they have seen through each other soul.

awesome, and brilliantly written as usual sweets!👏..it's like you you have narrated my thoughts exactly..true i was surprised first from his harsh behaviors towards her!..i couldn't understand what was his majboori!..

but then it hit me!.. that he doesn't want her to stay with him just for duty/farz sake!..or to take care for him as a wife as she said to him!..he doesn't want her only reason to stay in this marriage to fulfill her obligations as a wife!..he wants her love!..just like he loves her!..nothing less..

he isn't sure about her feelings!..he thinks that she is still in love with her past!..and who can blame him after what he saw!..who can blame him when she never said yet that she loves him!!..having said that.. i still don't like his methods!..he is hurting and he is causing her pain too by insulting her again and again and breaking her heart!

Awesome, awesome post!! You summed up Sid's POV so perfectly!!

This is why Sid sent Riddhima the divorce papers also, in the first place. Because he doesn't know whether Riddhima actually loves him, or is she actually doing all this to fulfill her obligations as a wife. Sid can't bear to hurt Riddhima or see her cry. But the moment he tries to forget everything and soften up towards her, the scene comes racing back in front of his eyes. The bitterness, resurfaces.

And no matter how Sid is behaving rudely with Riddhima, it's all because he doesn't want to burden Riddhima with the marriage. What he doesn't know is that Riddhima too wants to be with him!!
