You will have to be a bit patient in reading this one because its going to be a bit long...I welcome both AR and SR fans to read this post...Because it has material for both groups...
This is in reference to the question I asked the SR/Sidmaa fans in one of my posts...I waited for some time before giving this report so that I could know the views in larger context...
Questions that I asked the Sidmaa fans:
1) Have all the Sidmaa fans seen dmg right from the start...I mean from day one,episode-one upto episode till date???
2)From the posts I have read, I get an impression that all sidmaa fans are of opnion that SR relationship stands above AR relationship, Would very humbly want to ask you feel so???please specify the reasons...
Answers I got for question number one:
>Most of the SR fans(Most-not all) are the ones who have'nt been following Dmg right from the day one.
>A section of SR fans are those who have been watching Dmg from day one but did not continue to stick to each episode after that and since then have been watching Dmg on and off.
Reasons for such an act:
>Constant replacement of the actors who played Riddhima and thus could not relate to AR relationship in the same way.
>Lack of freshness in the story,mutiple character love stories, and the way the story was progressing with each event was not satisfying.
Answers/Reasons that I got for the Second Question:
>Majority of the SR/Sidmaa fans are the ones who have shifted from AR to SR mainly due to constant replacements of riddhima and hence they found it difficult to connect to them.Some liked Kash,some Kasu and some Kajen.So at the end of the day, it was not like "Armaan with Riddhima" but it became "Armaan with which Riddhima?"
>By the shootout incident,most of them had lost interest AR and after the shootout, it was like..."AR...gone..."
>When the whole SR thing started,it regained their interest due to the multiple fights of SR and by the time SR got married Sidmaa fans found a base to build their SR palace...
>Majority of SR fans loved the whole concept of "moving on,falling in love again, marriage,and the way destiny had bought two heartbroken persons under one roof"....
>Most of them are either fans of Karan Wahi or Jennifer Winget or both.They had seen Karan Wahi in Remix and Jennifer in her previous shows...
>All of them love KW-JW chemistry onscreen,they feel these two look great with each other and this compliments the Sidmaa relationship...
>Lastly,(the only pont I had been waiting for)...They did all agree that AR is beautiful in their own way and SR is different in their own way...
Okay, I hope I have got all the points together...Now, I would sincerely like to thank all those SR fans for opening up and sharing their thoughts and feelings with me inspite of knowing that I'm an hardcore AR fan(As I had mentioned right at the top) and that I might feel difficult to connect to their reasoning...
AR fans, I hope you didnt hate me for posting a topic on SR...but the only sole reason was that I didnt want to bash them or something blindly...Also, I thought that will be an attempt to create an understanding between both the warring groups...
After that post of mine(the whole SR thing), I can proudly say that I'm still a hardcore AR supporter and my interest/liking for AR has'nt come down an inch...
Now,I would like to present my thoughts on why I think AR should be together....
I'm afraid I will have to use SR reference's as well to explain my point of view but its not to hurt anybody's sentiments...I repect people's choices...Hope this does'nt sound like a complete comparision topic...Here, I go then...
1)Firstly,Dmg has been and will always be about AR...no one can deny the fact that AR has been the base and the soul of the Dmg...I agree that they were other characters also who were adorable and did contribute much to the story...but its AR whose been driving the show till date...The only sole reason of existence of Dmg is AR...and why the majority of viewers are still baring with the nonsensical things shown is only because of hope of AR re-union again...
2)AR relationship has been mesmerizing,charismatic, and beautiful right from the start...some people argue that it has never been mature....but actually it has been mature many a times...there were tons of incidents where AR have sacrificed so much for each other...Their story all along has shown their strong connection,undying love&support and commitment towards each other till date no matter in what circumstances the fate throws them in...
3)They have been soooo many incidents wherein you can determine that they are meant to be together...Be it their inside hospital scenes,innocent fights, basket ball scenes, fire-escape scenes, sanjeevani camp scenes, orphange scenes, jungle scenes, bomb-blast scenes,party/function scenes, and list goes on and on...they were incidents when both have stood up for each other...they were there for each other in testing times...Example1: armaan was with riddhima when he came to know about the adoption case...Example2:Riddhima was there with armaan when he was fighting with shashank for thier relationship....I'm sure AR fans out here can provide tons and tons of incidents like these with proofs...(pics&videos)...
Now,lets cum to the present situation...why should riddhima go back to armaan since she is married...
>The circumstances in which riddhima got married to siddhant in the first case were not justified at all...
>Their journey started on a horrible note...Both met each other and landed up in a fight.Now, you will think even AR first meeting was a fight...but remember it was just an innocent fight(the basket ball scene) and it was not a serious one like it was for sid and ridz...armaan n riddhima didnt start hating each other after that meeting but they just loved pulling each other's leg and playing pranks on each other...whereas ridz-sid couldnt stand each other after that incident for a long time...
>The airport scene(tamnna leaving and riddhima's comeback)...That was the first meeting of SR, I agree to the fact that Riddhima was at fault that time for slapping sid for no fault of his...I agree she was mad at him for no reason and sid's anger at that time was justified....
>But they way their story progressed was really a horrid one...Their fights again,BB match,sid taking pics with ridz to black-mail her and make her apologize,panchgini visit and that body heating incident with riddhima coming back and accusing him in sanjeevani...finally getting married because of society pressure and their own way of handling things was the worst part...Plus,sid knew and he had seen riddhima's love for armaan many a times...On the day of marriage knowing she tried committing suicide( for whom??? for armaan), he shouldnt have married her no matter how hard she pleaded him...
>Post marriage,I dont blame him for falling for riddhima...But they were responsble for the following events...Not telling shanky n padma the truth....not telling sid's mother the truth...and most importantly not telling armaan the truth...
>I understand the "moving on and falling in love" concept but in SR case...I think only Sid has moved on and not riddhima...she's still stuck in her past...still yearns for her first love...
>The million dollar question:does riddhima still love armaan???...personally, I think yes, she definetly does...The kind of effect armaan has on her...nobody has...If she loves sid, why isnt she going back to him,why is she not able to tell armaan that she doesnt want him???.....simple...she still loves him...and that's why I think its AR together-forever...
Let me comment on character-wise now:
Siddhant postives: I really like him during his entry and the sid-tamanna phase...He was a good,fun-loving character but is butchered horribly by cv's...
Siddhant's negatives: That pics with ridz incident, that body heating incident,marrying riddhima and most importantly hiding the truth from armaan knowing armaan regards him as a great friend...He can been forgiven all his doings but atleast he should have told armaan the truth...if he didnt have the guts for that or thought he is not the one who is supposed to be telling armaan the truth,then he shouldnt have accepted armaan's friendship proposal...
Riddhima before come back:Riddhima was really an adorable,cute,naughty& beautiful character back then..her best was when shilpa was portraying her character and next comes sukruti n jenny together..I'm just saying in refrence to the character and not the actor....just like armaan said,"naak pe gussa,aankhon mein shararat,aur dil duppate mein...oye hoye!!!"...after come back,thanks to cv's even her charcter is butchered badly...
Riddhima after comeback:Well...I'm sorry to say this but since her comeback she hasnt done anything good expect going to search for armaan...I do agree that her situation is a very tough one and it is very easy to sit here and comment on her...But what she needs to do is learn to take a stand atleast now...Minutes before marriage,she was madly in love witn armaan and minutes after marriage,she goes and burns all pics with armaan...That would seriously confuse anybody...And just after a month of marriage,she nicely puts all the blame on armaan for what has happened to her inspite of knowing his condition...she even went to the extent of hiding the truth from him...uffff!!!!....Okay, so now...Riddhima if u really-truly love sid and want to stay with him...then go ahead and let armaan leave in peace...and if you still love armaan, go ahead and leave sid in peace...perhaps that will give sid time to grow into a man from a boy...lastly, take a stand girl-please...its high time...you are only making life worse for your ownself(apart from armaan and sid)...
Armaan: well...no befores or afters here...because its only armaan's character that has been consistent...He is a beautifully sketched character...everything about him is so good...no words actually to describe his character...he is a great human,great friend,great son,could have been great son-in-law,great lover...His character is the worst sufferer of the present track in Dmg...atleast riddhima has sid,Dr.keerti,her parents and the new intern gang.Sid has his mom,his sister,riddhima and new intern gang...they can run to them in testing times...what about armaan,poor bloke doesnt have anyone around...no friends, no parents...nobody...and the cheery on the cake is the whole hospital(includes everyone) was making him a fool all this while...
Also,I would like to add on about the "famous puching scene showed in precap"...Yes, I also think the punch was justified considering armaan's situation and the betrayal he is gone through by his friend and his love...but that should be it...No more maar-dhaar business....any more violence will ruin armaan's beatifully sketched character...just hoping Cv's wont turn him negative....
Dont have anything against actors,they are just doing their job...At the end of the day,cv's are to be blamed to ruin a good, fun-loving show....hope they get their tactics right atleast now...
I really hope this post did not hurt anyone's sentiments...
Lastly, I want to say I'm not against SR...But I'm truly with AR...always....
