For me, SidMa does not "rule." Yes, you do have some valid points (not saying AR fans don't, because we also do). But a couple who's making a mockery of their own married relationship - a relationship that SR fans told AR fans is so pure, and shouldn't be made mockery of via a divorce.
Well, to be honest, divorce is much more realistic in today's times than polygamy, or "fake" polygamy is. This couple can't even stand up for their OWN marriage (a rishta which is so sacred) against Mrs. Modi. They can't even tell the truth to Armaan.
They say they're doing this natak for a good cause - apno ke liye kar rahe. But at the end of this game their "apne" are the ones who are going to end up hurt; Mrs. Modi being lied to by his own son, and Armaan being lied to by the love of his life, and his new-found friend. I don't understand what's stopping them. They can at least tell the truth to Mrs. Modi since Yuvi has passed his internship exams now. And Riddhima is running around, away from Armaan trying to find ways to push Armaan away - even though telling him the TRUTH might as well be a good way to actually push him away.
Now.. all the SR fans telling AR fans that marriage is NOT a joke. Tell Sid that (well CVs, since Sid is a fictional character). Divorce is okay - it happens. A situation similar to DMG has happened in my OWN life (well, not my life; cousin's). But polygamy?
Okay, so the precap we saw might be a dream; but still.. pretending to be someone else's wife is still bad. This couple is making fun of their "oh so sacred" relationship. Sid telling his own wife to pretend to be someone else's, Riddhima pretending to do so; Riddhima not having the guts to tell Armaan, "yo gtho, I'm married to someone else," and Sid doing the same. When the couple themselves can't blurt out the truth about their marriage - can you really blame the AR fans for thinking divorce can happen?
