I love this post. It's on my favourite character and the thoughts have been really beautifully penned down. I'm actually left speechless and don't know what to say to you. But honestly, this has definately got to be one of the most touching and sensible posts I've read here.

Haha.. I'd love to hug you right now. This is by far one of the most best threads I've ever read. You put everything so well; di you read my mind. It was really eye opening and got me crying for ammy. Di, this one would surely show anti-armaan people that he is honestly, genuinely and sincerely a rich-hearted person. Although ridz portrays innocence, love and a caring attribute. I think Armaan has exceeded the limits with his selfless behaviour. He has loved, he has cared and ridz should realise that she can never get anyone like ammy!

i know its like the irony of life. armaan really did always stand by all of his friends and the people he cared for. even padma and shashank. esp wen sanjeevni was going to close down. and now he walks alone. im feeling a green day song right now. no wonder i love this character so so much

Everything you said is so true, it thus makes Armaan an unreal God-like character we have all come to love so much, and this love and faith in him results in thousands of fights out here :P Being from a broken family, or one on the verge of it, he shud have been a selfish, nasty and cruel kind of a person who gives a bloody damn about anyone :P but he didn't which is amazing and eveyrting....yet again I dont know...Armaan has his flaws...he's an egotist, in the real meaning of the word, he wants things done his way, he wants people around him to do what he wants them to, he's all an all a boosted leader of the group and he tends to remain that way...which is precisely why fights and spats with Riddhima were so common, she had similar traits too...:P both were stubborn big-headed egotists and thats what i fell in love with the show for...

However, i DO agree, he did it all and alone...the relationship b/w him and Riddhima sustained only on the efforts put in by him....keh lo, agar Riddhima ka effort 20% tha then all the remaining 80% was purely and ONLY Armaan...which is why, though i hate to admit it, he is our God-like character of the show and so we WONT like anyone who tries to be good to Riddhima and she sees it when EVERY SINGLE THING Armaan has done for her has gone unnoticed....so even IF Sid is a better character than Armaan, he wont ever be for us what ARmaan is :)
