Heyy guys...!! 😊
So it's a big, big day...for the show as well as for those of us still in the process of recovering from last night's major upheaval...and although the TB Article worked wonders to add a ray of sunshine to the otherwise rather bleak prospects, tonight's episode was a heady mixture that gave me a breath of fresh air by looking at the new entrants into the very familiar world we've known for so long...and a tinge of nostalgia while looking at those of the old who were there for us to behold, and thinking about those who were not, but may be on their way to us, biding time in the wings, perhaps...😳
And so, the new batch of interns finally arrives, each with his or her own distinct flavour, which, though it may contain little tinctures of traits we've already seen, bring the same traits in different packages, waiting for us to familiarise ourselves with...and the journey begins well, with Tamanna whose portion i must admit was a bit cliched in terms of the goody-two-shoes out to fulfil her father's dreams, making her way from a small chawl to big dreams, and to that near cathedral where her ambitions move a step further towards their destination: Sanjeevani...Sid, on the other hand, is meant to be an absolute contrast to this idealistic vision of dreaming big...because he already has what most people his age would dream of having after a long life of hard work...hard work has probably gone into what he has too...but it isn't his...and so, when it comes time for him to do some work of his own, pray who would ever give up a comfortable bed, half a dozen chocolates and a video game for Sanjeevani, only a hospital...not this guy...not unless his new car's on the balance against the "Bloody Indian Auto"...probably the only thing that'll do it...and off he goes, surging through his wardrobe like it's a task by itself just to get dressed for a day that does not involve lolling on a comfy mattress, for a change...😛
Then we have the pseudo Desi Girl...Naina...who is not given the benefit of dialogues today, so i shall reserve comment on her entire persona till the time that she actually opens her mouth and lets out a few of those highly anticipated Gujju motor-mouth syllables...she looked peppy enough though...full of life and spunk...add to that a cool mysterious dude on a bike, and you have a precap that sort of leaves you unfulfilled as yet...i think dialogues should do the trick as far as these two are concerned...and just like there's a bit of a reflection of Armaan in Sid, you can't deny the reflection in Yuvi too...had the bike and jacket been blue instead, we'd have thought it was Armaan with another bout of amnesia, making his way to his own revamped internship...but it isn't him...it is instead this mysterious, rather sombre looking dude who'd rather push off random girls dancing and falling on his bike, than show some etiquette and let them get off at their own pleasure...😎
And it is perhaps this lack of Armaan, and yet the abundance of images that drive your mind inescapably in his direction, and therefore by implication in the direction of what happened last night (Read: six months ago, DMG time), that form the only part of tonight's episode that is present throughout the half hour in its very absence from it...Shashank's little scene, where it is a task for him to pass by the same corridor where that shootout occurred is a show-stealer, in terms of his own expressions as well as all the things it evokes inside the audience...honestly, at that moment i felt really bad for everyone who does not share the privilege of comforting TB articles with those of us here, because for them, there were no answers tonight...only more questions...why the dread? why the ominous flashes of memory? why the lack of hope? all signs would point in a cruel direction...which is why the sense i left the episode with was a very mixed, complicated one...i'm happy to see the new interns, they seem a sweet bunch...but i'm also hoping for some kind of clarification on the show itself about where AR and the rest of the team not yet shown, stand...this hanging-in-mid-air thing is something i've never been comfortable with...hampers my vision of the new vibe too...Abhi and Niki looked good tonight in their parts...LOVED Abhi's interaction with Sid over the phone...i like Niki's new severe avatar...kinda cool and assertive at the same time...although if they stretch i too far it might not be too pleasant...but this is just the beginning of the fresh stories unfurling...we still await word on Jiah, Atul, Muskaan, Dr.Keerti, and of course, Armaan and Riddhima...
All in all, it's a positive energy you get from the show...tinged with a bit of uncertainty...but i suppose that'll stay till some answers start appearing along with the questions...in good time, hopefully...until then, i guess the best thing to do would be to kick back, relax, be patient, take things as they come, and enjoy the whole new roller coaster ride with an open heart, and an open mind...😊
cheers! 😃

I am one right here...
I can't get over what happened yesterday... and the TB article is just not the ointment for this broken heart... i am going to search for the answers and atleast want a glimpse of my dear interns knowing they are not in todays epi...
i'm happy to see the new interns, they seem a sweet bunch...but i'm also hoping for some kind of clarification on the show itself about where AR and the rest of the team not yet shown, stand...this hanging-in-mid-air thing is something i've never been comfortable with...hampers my vision of the new vibe
I wish i had a better attitude in welcoming the new interns..
more so.. i know two three days down the line.. i am going to like them.. and yet again rave about the show..
but for now.. i am still searching for answers.. and hope we get them soon...
All in all, it's a positive energy you get from the show...tinged with a bit of uncertainty...but i suppose that'll stay till some answers start appearing along with the questions...in good time, hopefully...until then, i guess the best thing to do would be to kick back, relax, be patient, take things as they come, and enjoy the whole new roller coaster ride with an open heart, and an open mind...😊
yeeppp with DMG that is all i have always done.. keep an open mind..
and sit back and watch the show.. the best always comes...
Yeah DMG hai mere Yaar..

I'm glad others feel the same way as I do. I'm uncertain about what to feel about todays episode. AR's absence was too prominent for me to look past... atleast AN and Shashank were there.. Thankgod for the TB article!!
I guess the newbies need time to get into characters.. I havent really been impressed with their acting skills tbh 😆 And their characters but maybe I'll get used to them :S
I miss AR, AA and Muskaan :(

S😳I swear to you Nandini, I thought the same thought as you, those who are not priviliged to have access to IF or view the TB article. I have no clue what they must be going through... Because if we didn't see the article and just watched tonights epi one may have considered that there is a possibilty that they may have died or something may have happened due to the taboo of the incident being told in the hospital. Really feel bad for the viewers who do not have access...😔
And so, the new batch of interns finally arrives, each with his or her own distinct flavour, which, though it may contain little tinctures of traits we've already seen, bring the same traits in different packages, waiting for us to familiarise ourselves with...and the journey begins well, with Tamanna whose portion i must admit was a bit cliched in terms of the goody-two-shoes out to fulfil her father's dreams, making her way from a small chawl to big dreams, Well said senora 👏 I think it would be cool to see such cliches broken. Imagine if she turned rebellious. Highly unlikely though it is still early days.. so only time cam tell, but it would be funny to watch though 😆and to that near cathedral where her ambitions move a step further towards their destination: Sanjeevani...Sid, on the other hand, is meant to be an absolute contrast to this idealistic vision of dreaming big...because he already has what most people his age would dream of having after a long life of hard work...hard work has probably gone into what he has too...but it isn't his...and so, when it comes time for him to do some work of his own, pray who would ever give up a comfortable bed, half a dozen chocolates and a video game for Sanjeevani,I feel his storyline is a little inevitable. The lazy boy wakes up one day and becomes a 'man' after understanding, losing and then regaining his true love once again. Sorry that was a little flatly said but thats my prediction. Come one come all... hehe😆 only a hospital...not this guy...not unless his new car's on the balance against the "Bloody Indian Auto"...probably the only thing that'll do it...and off he goes, surging through his wardrobe like it's a task by itself just to get dressed for a day that does not involve lolling on a comfy mattress, for a change...😛

It should be something to watch out for as when Armaan started he was the only 'masti-types-naughty-macho-boy'if you know what I mean😆. He had no maIe competition. Bechaara Atul doesnt count and Rahul started later. I think Yuvi might outsmart Sid, just seems like it as he is so focused but I think this drive of his might motivate Sid to want to do better. See once again predictions. Come one come all... And as for love well... this is DMG boys run around under girls and girls change the boys from what they were to what they become.

Maynnn I missed my Armaan and Riddhima hell lots today.. I knew they wouldnt be in todays epi we probably wont see a glimpse of them for quite some time 10-15 epis vague its not very specific so who knows. But I dearly missed them and will miss my bossy boots Anjali too! And god Atul in a serious attire. 😭 But I loved watching his character develop in the course of the last 2 years, so it could be good. QUESTIONS QUESTIONS QUESTIONS AND A WHOLE LOAD OF UNCERTAINTY REMAINS...... when AR return Im sure our Atul will come back to surface in his usual ditzy self. HOPEFULLY FINGERS CROSSED
All in all, it's a positive energy Yup i have that funny positive vibe being pulled inside of meyou get from the show...tinged with a bit of uncertainty.still a little bit of apprehension, but change could be for the good😊..but i suppose that'll stay till some answers start appearing along with the questions...in good time, hopefully...until then, i guess the best thing to do would be to kick back, relax, be patient, take things as they come, and enjoy the whole new roller coaster ride with an open heart, and an open mind...😊NEWS FLASH NEWS FLASH The return of the motley roller coaster hehe😆
cheers! 😃

Heyy 😊
I didn't find the track boring I felt towards the end it was rushed but I think this change could extract some good things for DMG 😃

Peace Out

Lovely post, Nandini!
I've tried so hard to find a little beacon of positivity on the main forum, and thankfully here is one! 😃
I was quite annoyed with the terrible cliffhanger ending of yesterday's episode, but honestly, Star One isn't going to kill off DMG's "main leads" so soon. It seems like only yesterday that they were celebrating 400 episodes and more to come...I knew that there was no way Armaan and Riddhima would be carted off to heaven - especially since Jenny is taking Riddhima's character development to exponential heights with her nuanced performances since the day she put on that light yellow (and then the light blue) salwaar kameez and stepped in front of the camera.
Today's episode was full of changes...A new atmosphere, as if we're beginning our journey through Sanjeevani all over again with the new batch of interns. I find it to be extremely refreshing. I'm in a minority here, but that's my honest opinion. Eternally optimistic.
Sid - I LOVE this kid! Karan was awesome...
"Idiot," as his bhaiyya Abhimanyu calls him, is hilarious, adorable, bratty, all in one! Needless to say, I loved the conversation between the Idiot and his "baap" - priceless intro scene revealing their relationship, which I am totally looking forward to seeing more of! (And I love his room, ROFL!)
Tamanna - Every Hindi serial seems to have a character like Riddhima or Tamanna...There's a challenge to playing such "cliched" characters. It's truly a challenge to bring out this freshness to such characters, and I hope Moulshree does. I'm sure she will! I already like her - Tamanna's diagnosis of her adrenaline rush...That was quite adorable! I can see the hard-working, genuinely kind-hearted girl inside of her already!
Naina and Yuvi - Not too much of them today, but I'm excited to see more of them tomorrow!
👍🏼 To the future of DMG!

outstanding as usual nandini👏agree to each and every word you wrote.even though i am telling people to give the show a chance to shape up i personally was quiet put off today.introductions to the new interns could have been better, they were good but did not have the desired impact. karan wahi has a soft spot in my heart because his family is my neighbour in delhi. i have seen him as a small boy who is now grown up touching heights.tamanna is a zerox of riddhima in early days though the background is different. naina- who dances at unkown weddings?????? and yuvraj- no comments.to me personally he does not look a doctor. atul.armaan when shown in eary days did look like docs just out of medical college.niki surprisingly drew attention with her looks and a better body language. same for abhi. dr shashank stole the show today. this man is a genius who knows what he has to do, he is simply the best as in the role of a father, a dean or a head of an institution. now in all this what was missing- the OLD GANG !!!! simply because dmg is dmg with the old gang only.hopefully we should be seeing them soon. and i sincerely hope that this time round the creatives should get AR married without any twists and turns in their lives.for the past two years we have been waiting for this but something or the other happens and we are back to from where we started. but not his time. enough of rona-dhona, ruthna-manana, enough of i love u -i love u nots. what we want now is AR marriage.plus the proper movement in other tracks .i sat through todays episode only to catch a glimpse or maybe a whisper about AR and the others.and very soon we will see then again with their full masti and naughtiness to rock this show again.till then lets give these youngesters a chance to prove themselves.
