The creatives are using this as the perfect opportunity to rake up high trps for the new interns' first episode. Everybody will watch to know what happens to AR. Even people who have not been watching DMG recently will switch on to watch tomorrow. This is what the CVs want. Gradually they may fade out the old cast once the new cast has made a good impression on the fans and the viewers have started liking them like in 1-2 months....

I kinda agree, it seems like a cunningly smart business move.
